Good food for a good price. Nice workers with good service. Good variety of selections. Breakfast and lunch is good. You won't be disappointed.

This is very close to the hotel. All of the locals go here. I had a wonderful breakfast here. The owner was very nice and stopped by my table to check on things and make sure everything was good with my visit.

I love this place. Very unpretentious local place for breakfast. I always order an omelet with crawfish, shrimp, onions and cheese, with a fresh warm biscuit on the side.

I had breakfast at T.Coon's Restaurant. The food was very tasty. The only complaint was that we waited about an hour to eat. Once the food came out it was worth the wait. I recommend the T.Coon special. I plan to co back and have lunch when I visit Lafayette LA.

The place was busy, staff seemed to be stressed (bad attitude) or short- handed maybe. The food was just ok. Was expecting more from a local place. Grits a little watery/runny than was used to. Coffee was good!

Been to T-Coons many times on visits to Lafayette Louisiana and it's always stays the same - lots of food at a reasonable price. The Blue Plate specials are always a lot of fun. The staff is cordial and anxious to make your visit a great experience. Only open for breakfast and lunch, they do a substantial business. Would recommend... More

Good cajun food in an old-time cajun restaurant. Good atmosphere if you like a retro, country cajun atmosphere, but a poor atmosphere if you want a nice modern restaurant. Food may be too spicy for some "yankees."

Despite having a lot of people at the restaurant- which is usually a good indicator that the food is good- these people can't cook! Worst breakfast place ever. Coffee had a horrible smell. Beignets fried in the same oil as other stuff. smoked sausage was cold. Eggs were lukewarm. bread was soggy and prepackaged. Smashed potatoes were call " a... More

I was in town to visit the University and found this restaurant down the street from our hotel. The sausage gravy was really good but you better like it spicy. My only complaint was the $2.75 per pancake. They were good but nothing special. I really did like the place. Reminded me of an old country restaurant were I grew... More

Stopped in here for lunch on a whim. We arrived in time to have breakfast or lunch. I really wanted some jambalaya and had not found a good place to get it in Lafayette. The lunch is served cafeteria style. All the food is home made. My favorite was the red beans with sausage and rice. Jambalaya was good but... More
