Good, simple, tasty Louisiana food. I had the crawfish omelette and it was great! I like the biscuits too.

We stopped here on a lark. We tried the beignets and some Mellow Joy (YUCK) coffee. The service was great. The beignets were fantastic. Everything coming out of the kitchen was looking very good. It was packed with people and I must say the kitchen had no problem handling it. Before we left the restaurant was half empty. On the... More

The beignets here are just as good if not better than the ones at Cafe du Monde. We had biscuit sandwiches for a late lunch and they were excellent for $4.00. Not much is open in Layfayette on a Sunday. This place closes at 2pm on Sunday's. Waitresses were friendly. Service was good.

I have eaten at T-Coons many times. There breakfast menu has changed. The quality of service and food is below average. There grits have more lumps than a gravel road. ( your really have to have poor cooks to mess up grits ) There eggs came cold. The waitress did not provide water or coffee unless asked for. As much... More

This is very close to the hotel. All of the locals go here. I had a wonderful breakfast here. The owner was very nice and stopped by my table to check on things and make sure everything was good with my visit.

I love this place. Very unpretentious local place for breakfast. I always order an omelet with crawfish, shrimp, onions and cheese, with a fresh warm biscuit on the side.
