Pretty good

Read the reviews and had just rolled into town so we gave it a try. Service was average but friendly. Burgers are about the only meal option. They've got a couple of breakfast options and a couple of salads. Burgers were very good. Everyone at our table enjoyed them until they were stuffed. If you... read more

Diner has nice atmosphere, and kid's meals come in cute 57 car boxes. Small kid's burger, with no fixins on it. Boring. Had the spinach meatloaf which was good, but INSTANT potatoes. Pet peeve to go out to eat and get instant stuff served, :{, and you know instant pot's when you get em. Average price, under $10. Diner menu.... More

A gem and local favorite in Lafayette! Lots of great options and daily specials. Our service was great during a busy lunch time and the food worth returning for time and time again. We enjoyed the fried pickled, and I was a fan of the chicken fried steak. Have to return for breakfast!

We had the occasion to have lunch at Hub City Diner on South College in Lafayette, LA yesterday. Yes, the parking lot was full...proof how much people love this institution. And we wanted to eat there so badly we parked behind the place and walked in the rain and around puddles to reach the front door. The diner is decorated... More

Great all around breakfast experience. My daughter, granddaughter and I ate at Hub City recently. We ordered buttermilk pancakes, eggs, grits, bacon and sausage. Everything was perfect. The coffee was delicious and brought out fresh on a regular basis. The pancakes were fluffy and hot. I recommend Hub City and come hungry. The portions were generous.

We were in town for baseball again, so decided to try a new place. It is 50's diner style, very cute! We were there on Mothers Day and all the moms got carnations when seated. We had omelets, diner scram and the 2x2x2x2 platter. A ton of delicious food and bottomless cups of strong hot coffee. Our waitress was wonderful... More

Shakes and curly fries are over the top. I had the hamburger steak which was good but nothing to write home about. My husband had the Ruben and my son had a bacon burger with onion rings. The onion rings were great but the Ruben and bacon burger again were good but nothing exceptional.

We've eaten here for breakfast and dinner and have been satisfied with both meals. The breakfast sandwiches are good and the hash brown potatoes are so yummy. The fried mushrooms are a must! You could make a meal with just the mushrooms. The 3 way hamburger steak, country fried steak, and gumbo are favorites. The chocolate shakes are pretty good... More

This was a great place for a family breakfast. The food was served hot and it was delicious. We all met for a family get together and the atmosphere here is perfect for it.
