My husband loves the curries and the ability to order anywhere from mild to Thai hot. I prefer milder heat but lots of flavor. The menu is filled with great soups, salads and entrees. Love the Larp which is a refreshing, tart salad of ground beef, chicken or pork with a wedge of cabbage used to roll the salad. The... More

My husband and I eat here every week. The food is consistently good! We have had Thai food everywhere in Lafayette and Pimon Thai is by far the best! The staff is very friendly and the owner is always there making rounds. Suggestions: Spring rolls Tom Kah or Tom Yum Pad Kee Mou Pad Thai Gang Panang Gang Dang Basil... More

This was the 3rd of our Thai restaurant adventures, and ranked the lowest. It is still good, but did not meet the same level of food taste as the other two We have 4- more to check out later this month. WE have order the same dish with the same "mild peppers" at each of the three, this one was... More

The ginger stir fry with chicken and the red curry mixed seafood dishes were delicious. They compared favorably with food we’ve had at any Thai restaurant. Not so for the thai iced tea, mango sticky rice or fried bananas with coconut ice cream. They were okay, but we’ve had better. Service was good, and prices were reasonable. We would certainly... Was disappointed because I didn't ask necessary questions about how food was cooked. What was wrong was made right. Loveliest thing is their Fresh Spring Rolls. Very nice staff.

We've eaten at pimon thai for many years, even before they moved buildings. The food is always wonderful. Compared to Thai Cuisine this place is better if you are looking for a nice romantic dinner. Their mango with coconut milk and sweet rice dessert is delicious. We really love this place. Great service as well. Very authentic thai cuisine.

We go to this restaurant often! They have the best egg rolls in town! I usually get the pad kei mao w chicken and medium spice level! It is fantastic! They have really good soups too!!

First, we eat here monthly. It is where we go for comfort food. They have an extensive menu, however we haven't ventured much further than the Gang Dang and Pad Thai. They are both amazing. They also offer brown or white rice to go with their dishes. We've also had the spring rolls for a health appetizer. The location is... More

The menu was lengthy and overwhelming, so after ordering egg rolls as an appetizer, I asked the waiter for assistance. He recommended a mildly seasoned noodle dish and a rice dish. We chose to add shrimp to each. It was delicious. The waiter recommended that next time we try a dish seasoned with curry and/or ginger because those are the... More

Love this place!! I have been eating here for over 10yrs. #1: I have never seen a roach and I'm scared of roaches. This doesn't matter anymore cause they have built a new location and moved into it. Pretty and cozy feeling. #2: I am black and I know the owner who doesn't wear glasses, there is no manager in... More
