We were surprised to find the restaurant back behind a couple of other buildings but worth getting to. We had very good food and excellent service in a fun, rustic setting. Very nice mural of Louisiana swamp and a 13 foot alligator (stuffed). Will return next time in the area.

We had the boiled crawfish, boudin bombers (boudin with burst of cheese in an eggroll, and fried) so good, and fried catfish with crawfish. The flavors and seasoning was just right. You had a party in your mouth! The tables are picnic tables, and the atmosphere is like coming home, very friendly warm and welcoming.

We went to the old iconic place hoping to get oysters, shrimp and crawfish on a Friday evening about 8pm. We were the only people in the place. No oysters. Crawfish weren't in season. We ordered a shrimp boil. The shrimp was tasty. We ordered draft beers which were cold. The waitstaff was almost too friendly. I feel it is... More

We stumbled upon Gator Cove. The restaurant is truly unique to these Texans! Glynis was our waitress and she was just sensational. She explained everything to us and treated us like family! Great food & fantastic atmosphere! A little high $$ for me but it was worth the experience!

Went here to have some boiled crawfish, they were FANTASTIC! Not too seasoned but they had a really good flavor. The service was great and we didn't have to wait very long for our food either! Will definitely return!

This is one of my favorite places to eat. They have the best boiled shrimp around. Their other seafood has always been good as well. And don't skip on dessert, it is truly as good as it looks.

This place was recommended to us by an employee of Tabasco. At first glance we didn't think it was open but then realized you have to drive to the back. Cool hometown feel--laid back, friendly servers. Prices weren't bad. We all had fried-whatever baskets, drinks and a dessert. 3 adults, 2 kids was about $75. Food was good. Dessert was... More

Cold food! Manager not responsive! Had reservations for a group of 16. Couples. Cold food was sent back. The boiled crawfish were still barely warm. The manager agreed they were cold but still charged for my order. The other order they sent back and did not eat. Could have been handled with professionalism. In other care about your customers. We... More
