We attended a wedding at this lovely restaurant/event venue. And when I say the food and staff are amazing, that is an understatement. Ken and Andrea you all rock! The food was fantastic, the place is beautiful, and the staff was incredible at handling several wedding hiccups and making everything work and come together. I'm still dreaming of their crawfish... This restaurant was fairly near our hotel, so we decided to try. It was quite lovely. We had a delicious meal. Great cocktails and wine. Very good staff-very knowelable and helpful.

Had a annual visit to my cardiologist which was very positive. No cholesterol and no high blood pressure (even after daily one fried egg breakfast and once a week caramel sundae!). Thus, I treated myself to lunch at Café Vermilionville. Began with a Bloody Mary which was excellent. It is served with pickled okra and string beans. Had a nice... More

We really went for the walking tour but before we got started we stopped in the cafe for lunch. I had the chicken and sausage gumbo, the cup size because I wasn't really hungry. My husband got the chicken and sausage jambalaya, chicken was dry, sausage had a little kick which he liked. My bowl was suppose to come with... More

Great atmosphere. Older Acadian style home with many small rooms to accommodate lunch meet yoga or just to have a two person lunch. Food is always great and the service is par excellence

From the minute you walk in to Cafe Vermilionville you feel you have entered an old Louisiana plantation. The walls look like they have been freshly mortared with brick and wood supports. From your table you are able to look out onto a beautiful garden area. The atmosphere is quiet, relaxed and comfortable. The menu is traditional French with a... More

Had a new waitress who was very inattentive. Three of the four of us were disappointed in the food. One of the fish dishes was dry and only warm. My filet was supposed to be stuffed and wasn't. Also served warm, not hot. My husband ordered the same stuffed filet, medium rare and got it well done. He waited for... More

I had to present a lecture and the meeting room was great and the staff was attentive and very accommodating. The appetizers were great as were the salads and my filet was succulent and just the right amount of spicy.

Service and food was wonderful. Not a Cajun type restaurant but excellent with touches of creole and Cajun. No dancing, no band. Just relaxing good food. Dessert is always a question for me. If you go here. You must get the dessert.

We walked to this restaurant from the Pinhook Hilton as it was the only decent place around. We weren't disappointed. Lovely building, professional staff and great food. Not cheap but worth the extra. Particularly liked Cajun Sharing Starter.
