They have the most amazing food. Lunch is pretty reasonable and they have daily specials. Night time the prices are high, but the food is so good and everything they serve is at the top in quality. They also do a brisk Sunday business. Check 'em out. Also in a very beautiful location and if the weather is right, you... More

Found this place by accident . Worth the detour into Lafayette! We all had delicious sandwiches and amazing tomato basil soup and home-made chips and red pepper ketchup to die for. My kids have been begging to go back so we will stop there again on the way back.

You gotta know how to get there, to get there. Located in the River Ranch community in Lafayette, Louisiana, it's difficult to locate and not all that wonderful in appearance, once you arrive. First thing you notice as you enter the restaurant: The outside dining area seems more conducive to this wanna-be upscale eatery, than the actual inside. Poor lighting,... More

Once upon a time this was our go to restaurant for special occasions. Could always count on great food! We had taken a hiatus after a so-so meal on our last visit, but recent trip was more disappointing. Didn't like my entree at all. Rice was tasteless. accompanying jam tasted awful. Makes you wonder if they taste any of their... More

We are locals and love dining at this place! Ben Leger is always spot on with his wine pairings and the chef amazes our palates all the time! BBQd shrimp is our staple appetizer, but this is a must for foodies!

My wife and I went here for our 12th anniversary. The place is small but just about perfect. The food was excellent (the portions were a little small though), and the servers were almost too attentive. They were very helpful and answered any questions we had about the wine selections available.

Went w/out a reservation; were seated in the back by a table w/ 4 rowdy children. Felt punished. I like kids, but not at that price! Finally the manager moved us. Food was very good. Not overly spiced. (Almost under spiced.) Though enjoyable, not enough to justify the price or a return trip.

Portions are too small,,, AVOID the meatloaf,,, oversalted and tiny. This place is overpriced. A (very) small salad, with a mediocre dressing, maybe 2 ounces, for $5.00?? There is more lettuce on a Big Mac.

Went to dinner with a friend recently. The waitstaff was very helpful, especially with my selection of wine. The food was delicious, as usual. We talked, drank and ate for a couple of hours with no one rushing us. My husband loves the corned beef on rye.

I had lunch there recently with my cousin. It was a lovely breezy day, so we sat outside. We both had the Big Apple salad with Herb Vinaigrette on the side, instead of the Smokey Bacon Dressing (we no longer eat bacon). I had Louisiana Lump Crab Cakes to start, and she had Portobello Fries. Everything was delicious! The waiter... More
