Great food. Always.

I have tried a lot of their food and have liked it all. Very interesting dishes but super quality. Their breakfast is out of this world.

My wife and I received a gift certificate for Christmas to French Press. We went there for lunch and ended up buying two gift certificates for friends. Great place for lunch. Right in the downtown area.

This restaurant is really good so be prepared to wait for a table. The wait isn't as bad since they doubled their space. Even though they expanded, the food is still fantastic. Be SURE to order the praline bacon. OH, SO YUMMY!

I love this place (again)! I have managed to arrive at a rather off time so no long lines. Parking is a little inconvenient but the food more than makes up for that! This time I had the grits and grillades and it was delicious. I was by myself this Sunday morning but the service was still great. If I'm... More

Not the cheapest place, but nice ambient. Pancakes for breakfast are good choice. I got so much I couldn't eat everything.

My wife and I had been to French Press a couple of time for brunch time and enjoyed the food & service each time, we brought my mom & sister one evening & I found the prices were a little high, not to worry, you can order breakfast @ night as well. The Cajun Benedict is awesome.

Delicious breakfast / brunch fare here! I recommend you arrive at 9:00 to avoid a LENGTHY wait for your table. Also, it's a good idea to order quickly, as the food does take a while (my only reason for giving 4/5 instead of 5/5). However, the food is well worth the wait! Cajun Benedict is a must-try...

A group of us decided to meet in Lafayette for brunch and all agreed to try The French Press. We were all impressed with the menu and unusual pairings of some of the classic Louisiana foods. Why I never thought to put a boudin ball and bacon on a biscuit and cover it with Steen's syrup, is beyond me. I'll... More

Service was a little slow. All food was excellent. I chose this place for a group of 6 friends and we all enjoyed our visit. We will be back.
