Awesome quaint cafe. Love the atmosphere, the service, which is always awesome and most of all the great variety of foods for breakfast and lunch. Have gone many times and will go back many times more!

Our first Cajun breakfast was delicious. The sweet baby breesus was remarkably unique and tasty. I would definitely recommend this place just for that. It is located next to the fire station. Of note it may have the hardest sign to read/spot out of any restaurant.

I work nearby and have eaten here a few times. I recall going there on three separate occasions, alone. Twice for lunch, once for dinner. Each time the service was terrible. If I want to eat there, I call in orders. If you like food with heavy sauces, this is the place for you. I don't like lots of any... More

We ate brunch here during an overnight stay in Lafayette. It was recommended to us and it certainly lived up to expectations. 'The French Press' is stylish in a contemporary Bohemian way. A spacious room with tall ceilings and one wall finished in distressed brickwork and plaster effect. The food is exceptional and could be described as Cajun with a... More

The wife and I stopped by and I'm so glad we did, it was great! The pairing of flavors in the bresus was to die for.. The flavor on the potatoes tasted a little different but overall very satisfied. I will be visiting again

My husband and I went for lunch. They were unusually busy as families were celebrating with their grads. We are glad we waited. My husband had the blackened redfish po boy and I had the Buffalo Bill po boy with shrimp. We both had French fries which were clearly freshly made in house. Both po boys were excellent. I especially... More

Before leaving for New Orleans, we stopped for breakfast mid morning on a weekday. The building has a lot of character. Our waitress was nothing to write home about, unfriendly and inattentive for the most part. Food was delicious and plentiful.

Great vibe, great service and AWESOME food! I had the breakfast sandwich with potatoes. I added blue cheese and bacon and it was phenomenal! I would love to come back for lunch. Next time I'm in Lafayette this will be a must stop!
