Best Breakfast In Town

The baby breesus is to die for. My husband had the chicken and waffles and loved it. The staff were fantastic, the ambiance was great and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Cajun breakfast.

The French Press had great food and great service, so much so we ate there twice. Their menu is a u nique take on traditional Louisiana fare. Overall attentive staff and quaint atmosphere.

Grits and Grillades and other Louisiana French Cuisine are found here. The building itself has a great story. This is primarily a breakfast restaurant.

Best burger in town, but I haven't had anything that has been short of excellent. The meatloaf sandwich and the French dip or two of the best sandwiches I've ever had. They have amazing breakfast dishes as well. Sometimes the service can be a little sketchy/ unknowledgeable and there is usually a wait if you don't get there early for... More

My family and I covered almost the entire breakfast menu. No disappointments, and a few standouts were the Breesus, Grits, French Toast and the Chicken and Waffles. Chipotle Grits are a must have item.

The decor is industrial chic; the building was apparently a fire station, to judge by the bell and the pipes, but it may have been a newspaper, based on the type trays on the walls. The wait staff are either very good or too cool for middle-aged fat women. There were maybe four other tables when I arrived and it... More

We had a very nice brunch at the French Press which included a yummy Bloody Mary and a Mimosa Plus. I had the Acadian bacon and egg without the bread and tried the chipotle grits, delicious! Everyone enjoyed their meal and it was reasonably priced. The service was a little slow, but it was good. It is a well-known cafe... More

Simple decor, friendly service and good food at reasonable price. Enjoyed freshly squeezed juice, Granola and Pancakes (would hav e preferred the berries on the side rather than fried in the pancake - but that is the way they make them apparently). Great start to the day :-)
