This was our second visit to Prejean's. Our first was a number of years ago when last in the area. We had dinner and enjoyed the music. This time we went for lunch. Considering our other experiences with Cajun food in Louisiana, we found the offerings to be rather average this time. We agree with other reviewers that the prices... More

As the title says the live band was my deciding factor on the 5 stars. Seemed like legit Cajun food which is what we were after and our waitress as very patient with us out of state customers who were asking so many questions. I would return and I recommend!

We went to Prejeans for dinner and to listen to the Cajun music. The food was good, but nothing exceptional. It is kinda pricey. And it is way away from other things to do in Lafayette. I wasn't impressed.

We liked the ambiance (music, lively, plenty of seating) but the price for the food was just way too high. I feel you could get better food in smaller local restaurants with better pricing. For a family of 4 the bill was over $100 and that didn't include appetizers or desserts! And, 2 of our party were kids!

I bring all of our out of town guest here to sample the Louisiana culture. It is real hard to find a bad meal or horrible service in this gem of a restaurant. If you are stopping or just passing through the area it is worth a stop. Lafayette is a great place for food and this is one the... More

As always the food was great and the house band was excellent. Our server, Mark, was very informative, knows his menu and recommendations were right on. The marinated seafood salad was excellent, the stuffed tilapia was delicious. No room for dessert, but the bread pudding is very good from past experience. It is a little touristy, but the good and... More

We were staying at a local bed and breakfast and decided to try this long time local establishment. We went on a Saturday night at the peak of dinner rush. I'm noting that so when I tell you the service was great, you will give it more importance. The place was packed and there was a line, but because we... More
