Good Cajun food and zydeco

Good regional food in a casual and comfortable setting with some mediocre zydeco music in the background. We shared a sampler plate as an appetizer which had frog legs, alligator, crawfish, shrimp. It was all fried and tasted remarkably similar. For dinner my husband had deep fried shrimp and my... read more

Five of us went for a late lunch on a Saturday. The hostesses were not friendly- we felt like we were putting them out just being there. Our waitress came right away and took our drink orders. Food was a little slow getting to our table. One of our party said her chicken and sausage gumbo was excellent. Others stated... More

I've been here several times over the last decade. My first visit was 13 years ago with 300+ bandmates from Northwestern. That experience was so memorable it kept me coming back all these years. I have always had amazing service and amazing food. Most recently, I stopped in on a trip to Baton Rouge. I took a colleague and she... More

Stopped off here on our way to Baton Rouge, I have never been here but my boss has and she recommended this place, so we stopped. I very much enjoyed the Silver Sirloin Steak with vegetables and loaded Baked Potato. Sirloin was cooked just the way I like it and vegetables were not over cooked or under cooked, along with... What a wonderful meal! While a little on the expensive side this place was worth it! The sauces on every dish were amazing! The duck crispy and delicious and the Crawfish Ettoufe absolutely fabulous. Topped everything off with the sweet potato pecan pie! Atmosphere charming!
