Every time we eat here we are always pleased. The gumbo and étouffée are always awesome! Great Louisiana restaurant!! Can't wait to come back!

I bring all of our out of town guest here to sample the Louisiana culture. It is real hard to find a bad meal or horrible service in this gem of a restaurant. If you are stopping or just passing through the area it is worth a stop. Lafayette is a great place for food and this is one the... More

As always the food was great and the house band was excellent. Our server, Mark, was very informative, knows his menu and recommendations were right on. The marinated seafood salad was excellent, the stuffed tilapia was delicious. No room for dessert, but the bread pudding is very good from past experience. It is a little touristy, but the good and... More

We were staying at a local bed and breakfast and decided to try this long time local establishment. We went on a Saturday night at the peak of dinner rush. I'm noting that so when I tell you the service was great, you will give it more importance. The place was packed and there was a line, but because we... More

Have been here a few times on our own, and always had a good experience. Food quality and flavor is usually very good (experienced a seafood gumbo where the roux had burned and was not edible once). Recommend the surf over the turf. Quick access off I-49, near the LA State Troop.

Authentic Cajun Food at its best. My wife and I split the crawfish platter with boudin balls as an appetizer. The platter came with a salad, fried crawfish, crawfish bisque, etoufee, fried crawfish, crawfish pie, crawfish cornbread and rolls. The food was excellent and more than enough for us to split. We also enjoyed the cajun music with a live... More

Even if we arrived late we got excellent service. My favorite is the crawfish bisque. The crawfish player platter was huge, mostly fried crawfish, had we known we would have ordered grilled. Extraordinary bread.

OMG- if you love Cajun food and fresh seafood- this is the place to go! On the pricey side, but well worth it- portions are ample and oh so good! I had the corn & crab bisque- sweet, velvety soup with lump crab meat- not fishy at all! Will definitely eat there again!

We visited for a late lunch when there were few others in the restaurant. Our server was very helpful and patient and the food was varied and good. We tried a crawfish plate that offered crawfish multiple ways, but the best dish was the alligator and crawfish cheesecake. That is something you must try!
