My date and I had a wonderful meal here this week. We both had featured fish dishes - Catfish Oscar Prejean and Tilapia Tchoupitoulas were both wonderful and we would have again. They have live music on Sunday night, which didn't interest us, but we were shown to a private table in another room where we could visit without the... More

Prejean's has some of the best food in south Louisiana but the popularity can lead to long waits , so reservations or patience are needed. Food is great though.

We love Prejean and every time we come to LA, we always make sure we stop by and have our seafood gumbo delight!!! It was superb of course. The seafood platter was also great. Our server Jennifer was not very good. She rarely came and filled up our water, she kept passing us and also had our appetizer plates emptied... More

Oh my goodness!!! If you passing through lafayette don't settle for just any breakfast go to this place! It stops serving breakfast at 10 am so keep that in mind. Anyway, the service is excellent, friendly waitress, nice atmosphere, good prices and the most important....the food. I had Breaux bridge eggs Benedict. It has Boudin sausage top with crawfish etouffee.... More

If you are traveling throughout Louisiana, a must-stop restaurant is Prejean's in Lafayette. The menu is extensive and there are no wrong choices. The gumbo is rich and earthy with the best roux ever. I strayed from the normal seafood or chicken gumbo and ordered the smoked duck and Andouille gumbo. It was delicious! My favorite dish at Prejean's is... More

Prejeans is our go to restaurant whenever we feel like celebrating an occasion. Our friends also loved this Restaurant. Price reflects the quality. If your budget is Burger King, eat at Burger King. Heartily recommend Seafood & Wold Game dishes. We are real Cajuns growing up in the heart of Cajun country, not transplants & we speak the French. However,... More

Everyone recommended this place. Catfish was great, large portions. Boudin balls were new experience. The taste and seasoning made me order take-out.

Prejeans is a tourist spot but it's also a go to for locals. The portions have decreased significantly the last couple of years and it's expensive but the food is good. The gumbo is one of the best around. The rice dressing/dirty rice is not good at all but their fried seafood has consistently been good. The staff is usually... More
