Amazing foodie place on your way to Monte Amiata

Let me first start by the downside : no terrrace, but having said this it's an outstanding foodie place with a good variety of great food (chef makes good plates) and the best wines you could expect : all BANFI Brunello di Montalcino, great Rosso della Porticcia from Casale Pozzuolo. The lady of... read more

We drove past this everyday for 4 days and decided to take a chance and visit. It was beyond words. Thank you for a wonderful dinner experience.

This restaurant just opened just a month ago, dec 2014. I had tortelli with the classical filling of spinach and ricotta, with a pumkin sauce. Home made, delicious. As secondo I had the lamb, also very good with pear and potato mousse. Very good house wine, but they have a variety of good wines. I will definitly return.

Though my wife and I frequent the ristorante numerous times whenever we are in Italy, the food always uplifting your spirit and energise your soul at the end of the day. Great service, personalable and home cooked comfort food on the table, overlooking the Tuscan hill, setting sun on the horizon, what more can you ask for.

Traveling late one afternoon and into the evening we were having very little success finding a special place to eat. We had been traveling through the countryside all day and were looking to end the day with a fabulous meal -- and our wait paid off! The food was delicious and fresh! Traveling with teenagers with big appetites, we tried... More

This small town has a lot to offer the visitor - great food shopping at cheaper prices, great icecream, coffee and acts as a gateway to Monte Amiata - a natural park that has ski runs in the winter. Nice restaurants to visit as well with several agriturismo [farm stays] or B&B's close by. One hour from Sienna and is... More
