This is the best seafood place to eat. We have eaten here for 10 plus years. Prices are reasonable and the service is the best, friendly kind and attentive.

Good boiled seafood... some fried seafood that's average. It is a typical New Orleans seafood joint, no view to speak of just good boiled seafood, especially during crawfish season

Wanted a Po boy and came here again and it was awesome, once again. I got a roast beef po boy dressed. I received it hot, sloppy and overstuffed with meat. Very much worth coming here for the sandwich.

Wanted to try real Cajun food while in New Orleans. We were all pleased with the experience. I found gumbo too spicy for me, but it had a great taste; and the crawfish much better than I thought. My husband got shrimp étouffée and loved it. The restaurant was small and simple, but the service and food was great!

They fried shrimp was great. The yellow fin tuna had a wonderful flavor but was overcooked. The beef sandwich was way too salty. The service was excellent.

On our last night in Louisiana we to Smitty's, hopefully to eat everything we hadn't yet tried on this trip. It was the best possible choice. The exterior isn't special, and most of the clientele are locals, which is a very good sign. Between 3 of us, we had the gumbo, crab chowder, crab cakes, barbequed shrimp, and bread pudding.... More

The building itself is nothing to get excited about but the food was fantastic. I had the shrimp po boy... there were a ton of shrimp. My husband had the fish po boy and said it was excellent. My dad had the burger and said it was just ok. Then again I told him not to go to a seafood... More

My wife and I ate again at Smitty's tonight. I had the "Bald" Crawfish with Sausage, New Potatoes, mushrooms and corn. Absolutely delightful! So good, juicy and spicy. I sucked the juice out of the heads the Louisiana way. My mouth is still tingling and my belly is laughing. My wife had "Bald Shrimps" which were boiled in the same... More

The boiled seafood is perfectly flavored, and won't break your bank. Service is good and won't keep you waiting forever. Great local restaurant with family atmosphere that is easy to get to from the airport.
