Worth the Wait

If you get here for lunch, expect to wait 15-30 minutes.... we waited for 20 but it was completely worth it. The food was not that good! It was a long wait and the quantity and quality was not up the the New Orleans standards.I will not go again.

This local seafood place had positive Trip Advisor reviews and it was worth the wait. It was a Saturday night and locals and tourists swarmed the place! We had fun visiting with the bar staff and had cold beers while waiting. We had a group of six Andre everyone had a different seafood dish from shrimp po boys to crawfish... More

Small place, good New Orleans food, packed with local folks. Not a table cloth in sight. If you want luxury, try somewhere else. If you want good New Orleans seafood at a good price, try here.

I know it's NOLA so you're inclined to go for the traditional po'boy or perhaps a seafood platter, but you might want to try their Seafood Salad with the Parmesan peppercorn(?) dressing. It's really good! Mine was loaded with fresh crab and shrimp. Nothing fancy...just crisp lettuce, tomatoes and hard boiled egg along with the seafood. It's huge and filling,... More

We enjoyed excellent seafood meals with good service from Lauren. Our appetizer was a doz. raw oysters on the half shell with cocktail sauce ... Terrific! Next came the charbroiled catfish, roasted potatoes & house salad. The blackened mahi mahi with crab meat sauce was also very good. We enjoyed this meal so much that we ordered carry-out 2 nights... This is a very popular restaurant. It's not very large inside therefore you will have to wait to be seated. You can sit at the bar and receive full service for food. We opted to sit at the bar rather than wait for a table. I ordered fried catfish and it was ok. My husband ordered eggplant and he said... More

I love this place. Been eating there for years, each visit excellent. They are known for their oysters which are shucked at the bar, I go for their shrimp. So good! You can't go wrong in this casual restaurant, however it becomes more crowded each visit. It's not a place for relaxed dining and after lunch chit chat. Go, if... More

Bright lights and old school dinning, halibut was great mud bugs and shrimp were outstanding, chowder was as well. Didn't have the oysters but there were enough people eating them to think that they were bad. Prices are friendly ..

Crayfish and shrimps by the pound :) and much more. This place was so awesome. We had 3 pounds of crayfish and 2 pounds of shrimp for about $40. Service was super friendly and the seafood fresh and fast. I wish I could come here more often. Definitely a hidden gem off the mainstream places.
