Very generous portions and quite affordable. In addition they have a nice selection of beer, including a good local IPA. One of the nicest things about this restaurant is that they will let you buy a couple of beers to take with you, which was convenient since I was staying at a hotel and didn't need an entire six pack.

It is pretty much exactly what you would expect from a small seafood place. Most of the food is fried but the price is good and the quality is good. We had fried alligator, frog legs, turtle soup and crawfish and one meal so that was interesting.

My wife and I ate here first in April, 2014 to rave reviews. We just finished a four day trip to New Orleans, and ate here three times. It is even better than we remembered. Their shrimp and crab stuffed mirliton squash is better than food we had at a James Beard winning restaurant earlier in the day. The atmosphere... More

This small place is apparently a part of the seafood market next door. It seems to be a neighborhood favorite with a number of folks stopping in to pick up a to go order. I had the fried shrimp and oyster combo and both were very good, as was the coleslaw. The service was a little slow, but the food... More

They have seafood done almost anyway you can think of (think Forrest Gump: fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, shrimp gumbo.......). My girls had fried alligator (tastes like chicken, LOL) they liked, and several of us had gumbo that was good. My crawfish ettouffee was not the best I've had, but it was good. Be prepared to wait for a table (they... More

Many choices. All great. First stop after I land and last stop before I take off. 5 minutes from airport. Excellent taste of New Orleans food. Had the gumbo, crawfish, and shrimp mushroom lobster bisque. Outstanding!

The service is usually fairly quick. Great fried and boiled seafood and fresh oysters. Nice casual place to have a good taste of seafood, New Orleans style.

Some of the best gulf oysters I have ever had. Raw and fried. Shrimp were really great. We didn't care much for the Cajun potatoes and the gumbo was more of a lighter brown gravy but was above average. Getting served was good, getting out was the problem. They really need the lady at the front to be a cashier.... More

A small local restaurant with delicious local cuisine. Very casual atmosphere with very good food. That sums it up. 10 minutes from the departure drop off at the airport. Don't miss it!
