Great seafood

We arrived on a Friday night and were dismayed by the huge line, but figured it mean good food. Waited over an hour and a half but it was terrific. Blackened calamari, oysters on the half shell, boiled crawfish were great. Fried soft shell crabs were the best I've ever eaten.

I have been to this restaurant several times and the food is great...and that would be the only reason I keep going. Again...the food is USUALLY phenomenal but the service is always lacking. Today, I ordered the alligator 1/2 & 1/2 and seafood combo, as I always do, and the food was terrible. The food was cold and the fries... More

Went here with a few people from work. It is refreshingly casual for the food quality. The people working there are pleasant. The decor is minimal at best & the bathrooms are dismal, but the food was tasty: the beer was cold. Go early! If you arrive after 5ish you will be waiting a while for a seat. We got... More

Great place to come with friends for dinner and a couple of drinks. Not a fast food place, depending on the day and time, you may have to wait a while since the restaurant is not too big. However, the waiting is worth it because the food is delicious.

Have eaten here many times. It's a great little hole in the wall place that locals like. Food is reasonably priced, service is usually good. Most people get poboys, or raw oysters, the seafood platter is enough to share with two other people. My only complaint is the place is small - really small. You are elbow, to elbow with... More

We went here at the recommendation of the hotel. We got there early which was great because 10 minutes later there was a line out the door. Lots of locals eat here too. The fried seafood is good, oyster po boy was great and the raw oysters were a great price and terrific. The crawfish boil was ok but was... More

Good inexpensive "hole in the wall" Louisiana seafood restaurant. A good choice if you're by the airport -- candidly, the food isn't good enough to travel to. Our oyster po' boys and gumbo were good, but not fantastic. Prices are reasonable. Boiled crawfish were $5.29/lb -- a good place to get them if you're not headed west to Cajun Country.... More

Loved, loved loved the fried shrimp! Coming from Colorado, it was really nice to have fresh seafood. I also had chicken tenders which were moist and had great flavor. My husband had an oyster po' boy, and said it was among the best he's had. It was pretty packed by 11:30, and we had to wait. Service was great! Seems... More

I really love this place and it's so close to my mom's house. I grew up eating at Harbor Seafood. Sometimes the boiled crawfish can be hit or miss but overall the food is consistently good. I always suggest to my out of town friends to eat here. Every time I come home I always have lunch with my mom... More
