This place is number 1 for a reason. The biggest and freshest oysters you can get. My last visit I paid $8 for a dozen....wow! poboys are great and beers were $3.50.

Today's lunch was awesome. We tried coming here last night for dinner but the wait was to long. So we tried for lunch today, was a success. My husband ordered the Swamp Platter featuring alligator, frog legs and turtle soup = he rates it 3 star's and says it's a very interesting dish. I had the stuffed Lobster featuring one... More

This was amazing. The mirliton is in the squash family but it reminded me of a cooked bell pepper in texture. Im a mixer with my food and paired with the mustard potato salad it was amazing. They have this tropical daquari that is amazing.

This local seafood restaurant serves-up some really tasty seafood. Our group of eight arrived for lunch on a Wednesday and were pleasantly surprised that a table for eight was immediately available. This restaurant is very popular and gets very busy, especially at peak lunch and especially dinner times. We were greeted promptly by our waitress and put our orders in.... More

The fish comes from the shop next door and is fresh! The gumbo was to die for. Po-boys were huge. Wish I could've also tried the boiled shrimp, as I ogled the plate of huge shrimp on the table next to us. The wait isn't bad, and there is an awning if it's raining. Minimal parking in front, but a... More

It was my first visit. We arrived at 9PM on a Tuesday evening and still had to wait 30 minutes on a table. They were out of crawfish which worked in my favor as I wasn't ready to try them! : ) I had a shrimp po-boy which was very good. It was what I would call a "dive", which... More

I have eaten here several times over the past five years. New Orleans is full of great restaurants so it is hard to call it the best, but it is one of the best and certainly the best in Kenner. This time I had a half eggplant fried covered with crab-meat and crayfish topped with a rich cream sauce. It... More

We go here every time we have a chance when visiting New Orleans. It ain't fancy but the food is great. Expect to wait for a table or seat at the oyster bar anytime you go. We always order and share a variety of food. On our most recent visit there were 5 of us and we shared a shrimp... More
