My husband loves their red beans and rice--says they're better than Popeyes. He had them with thin, well seasoned fried catfish and a biscuit. I ordered the lunch plate special, several entrees to choose from, each comes with a biscuit, small salad, and brownie with pecans for $11.99. These are lunch portions, but my eggplant pirogue with angel hair pasta... More

I'm not sure if it was just this time but if I pay over 20 bucks for blackened fish it needs to be good. I'm not a big eater but I didn't even need a Togo plate like usual. Portions are a little smaller. I may have to make this at home from now on.

Just left a little while ago. Crawfish poboy was the order of the day. It was good, it comes with fries they were hot and fresh, looked like they were made in house. My friend got the redfish and was pleased. I have never had a bad meal at any Copeland's.

To start with, parking on weekends is always very limited. After being seated and greeted by your server drink orders are quickly taken, from that point on dinning experience goes downhill. When drink orders finally arrive at the table, orders for food are taken. Before food arrives every glass of beverage on the table is empty and everyone is waiting... More

Always good service and the taste and flavor of the meat is always consistent. Crab balls and popcorn shrimp are very good also. Desserts are great but try the sweet potatoes, just as good as dessert!!!

With so many great local restaurants in the New Orleans area, there's nothing that really stands out about Copeland's. No variety of beers or bourbons to start. The happy hour prices are good but lack of selection really makes "average". The food was OK. Find something more exciting for your money.

Every visit is fantastic. My favourite dinner is always Christmas Eve. This time we waited seated at the bar with drinks & then ate at a booth in the bar which had so much atmosphere. However busy they are, the service is always excellent & not rushed. on my 1st Christmas Eve dinner they didn't have my favourite Margarita listed... More

Great dishes to choose from. Copeland's is family oriented, friendly and fast service, and the dessert is a must to complete your meal. You will not be disappointed!

I wandered in a little after 3:30 following an afternoon of errands, and I wanted to get a bite to eat before completing some shopping. I was greeted promptly and asked if I wanted to sit near the bar since happy hour was fast approaching. I agreed and my server came to my table within a few minutes and explained... More

Lived in River Ridge La. for a while and Copeland's was the place for good food and great deserts. Wife fell in love with the white chocolate bread pudding. When she came to visit, it was desert at Copelands. When I would fly home, I would stop at Copelands and get some to take with me on the plane. When... More
