Copeland's nice place

The food here was good, pricing was about average for this kind of restaurant. They were able to handle a group of 28 with minimal problems.

After spending a day in New Orleans, we were looking for a place to eat on our way back to Baton Rouge. As I was the only person in my group from Louisiana, I thought that Copeland's would be better than Olive Garden as it had local dishes. All agreed due to walking in after 9 pm and have two... More

So let me start with the service. I was dining alone and reading, which presents challenges for servers. How do they balance providing good service without risking disturbing you unnecessarily? My primary server, Chelsea B, did a fine job balancing this as well as providing menu recommendations and answering questions. The other servers that assisted her did an great job... More

Being from new orleans we have alot better choices.. But when i have out of town guests this is the first stop from the airport. A good variety and introduction to our food.. I use it as a warm up to the main event.. So if you are flying into nola give this place a shot

I’m basing my review on my recent visit here in Kenner, La, my neighborhood. I hardly visit this restaurant but decided to do so after eating at the one in Baton Rouge in which my wife got a delicious dish called Ricochet Catfish. I ordered this dish at this one in Kenner, La. and was very disappointed in the portion... More

I've loved Copeland's (all of them) since they opened years ago, but this location has gone downhill recently. I don't write many reviews, but the last couple of visits were unpleasant enough for me to put a note in my phone reminding myself not to go back -- that wasn't an easy decision, because it's been one of my favorite... This New Orleans icon of a restaurant never ceases to displease a diner because they always have great choices. The biscuits are to die for, but on a more serious note the corn and crab bisque is always a good choice, as well as the penne pasta with crab. Be prepared to wait when it comes to service, but the... More

A good portion of the menu is comprised of New Orleans spicy food. Food is very good and a varied menu to please everyone. Nice atmosphere.

I recently had a business dinner at this location. The food is always amazing and the staff go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of. We met at the restaurant at 7 pm on a Wednesday night with no wait. We started with an appetizer of crap claws. They were amazing. For the main... More

The Kenner location is my favorite. The food is consistently fantastic, and the specials and promotions really make Copelands a great value. I recommend sitting in the bar booths, as the bartenders, who also wait the bar tables, are very attentive, and check with you often for drink refills and anything else you need.
