I've loved Copeland's (all of them) since they opened years ago, but this location has gone downhill recently. I don't write many reviews, but the last couple of visits were unpleasant enough for me to put a note in my phone reminding myself not to go back -- that wasn't an easy decision, because it's been one of my favorite... This New Orleans icon of a restaurant never ceases to displease a diner because they always have great choices. The biscuits are to die for, but on a more serious note the corn and crab bisque is always a good choice, as well as the penne pasta with crab. Be prepared to wait when it comes to service, but the... More

A good portion of the menu is comprised of New Orleans spicy food. Food is very good and a varied menu to please everyone. Nice atmosphere.

I recently had a business dinner at this location. The food is always amazing and the staff go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of. We met at the restaurant at 7 pm on a Wednesday night with no wait. We started with an appetizer of crap claws. They were amazing. For the main... More

The Kenner location is my favorite. The food is consistently fantastic, and the specials and promotions really make Copelands a great value. I recommend sitting in the bar booths, as the bartenders, who also wait the bar tables, are very attentive, and check with you often for drink refills and anything else you need.

Went in for the 2 can dine for $20. My phone had died and I wasn't able to show the ad to our waiter. But he talked to the manager and got it ok'd. The salad could have had a little less carrots to my taste. The eggplant pirougue and the crabcake alfredo were delicious. As always their biscuits are... More

I stopped in today for lunch. While it was a busy time, I was seated immediately and my waitress was very cordial and attentive. I tried the chicken and eggplant parmesan and it was cooked to perfection and delicious. I ordered the lunch portion and it was larger than I expected but I managed to finish it all. The restaurant... More

We dined here at the start of a vacation. We stopped at Copeland's while attempting to locate a dining location nearby the airports hole awaiting a delayed flight. Copelands turned out to be one of best dining experiences I have had in the New Orleans area in several years. The food and service were on par with many of the... More

My husband loves their red beans and rice--says they're better than Popeyes. He had them with thin, well seasoned fried catfish and a biscuit. I ordered the lunch plate special, several entrees to choose from, each comes with a biscuit, small salad, and brownie with pecans for $11.99. These are lunch portions, but my eggplant pirogue with angel hair pasta... More

I'm not sure if it was just this time but if I pay over 20 bucks for blackened fish it needs to be good. I'm not a big eater but I didn't even need a Togo plate like usual. Portions are a little smaller. I may have to make this at home from now on.
