Bourbon Street is known by the locals for being a nice, reasonably priced place to eat. Many choose their shrimp po-boys.

Great food &a lot of food for the price. Thursday is steak day/night 10oz-ribeye $10.95. Don't order a large shrimp poboy unless you are really hungry.

For a truck stop restaurant, I was fairly impressed, but it's an okay restaurant overall. I got food there twice (the shrimp poboy and a bacon cheeseburger) and it was good, but overall forgettable. The first time service was kind of shoddy (it took awhile for them to take my order, but when they did, it came out lightning quick),... More

Located in the "Jennings Truck Plaza" at the Shop Rite service station on the east side of Hwy. 27 just south of I-10. One breakfast meal of an omelet was very good. One evening meal of oyster po' boy and sweet potato fries was good. The place was clean and service was quick and friendly. T There was a good... More

This came highly recommended from the hotel staff across the street. The wait staff were friendly, but the dining room was unclean. Ultimately the food was terrible. I had gumbo, which was recommended by my hotel staff and was a huge disappointment. I also allowed myself to be seduced by the fried pickles which were OK, but the flavor did... More

Enjoyed shrimp poboys and fries on this stop. Quick and hot food except for onion rings that one of our party ordered-they were cold. This bread was not a crispy French bread but more of a soft sandwich roll. Shrimp were plentiful and tasty. Would stop by again and order the same. Connects with service station store. Restrooms were clean.

The reviews are right. This is in a truck stop - BUT the food is good, honest and fairly priced. Even though most recommend the shrimp poor boy, I had the oyster poor boyand onion rings. The oysters were plentiful. They were not heavily breaded and they were very good. the sandwich was A+ as were the onion rings. I... More

This restaurant is located in a truck stop adjacent to the Days Inn where we stayed. The shrimp po'boy was made with lightly fried shrimp with a side of either fries or onion rings. I chose the onion rings. The service was quick and although I rarely eat fried food, I found this not to be too greasy! My husband... More

If you are on I-10 in Louisiana near exit 64 (LA 26) and looking for an outstanding meal, you have got to stop at the Bourbon Street Cafe at the Jennings Travel Plaza. I realize this is a truck stop, and we don't usually eat at these, BUT this is not your usual truck stop and NOT your everyday truck... More

don't attend with good close for their ventalation service is not adequate, however the food for breakfast is very good and the community locals are entertaining, very good wait staff and very clean restroom. Plus you can fill up with gasoline and enjoy breakfast, at the red light just south of I 10 in Jennings, LA. They do also have... More
