Right next to the swamp tour. Large portions, excellent southern cooking, and reasonable prices. Fast and freindly service.

They need restaurant rescue. Only thing good is the fried chicken. The place is too old and smells like fried food. No one wants to eat fried food everyday. It takes forever to get waited on. The only reason they stay busy is because there I'd no competition in the area.

Unlike most reviewers, we found service to be slow and the food over-fried and dry. When asked for a vegetarian recommendation, the seemingly unhappy waitress replied to my teenage daughter that she should just look at the menu. Menu offerings seemed to be different types of fried seafood, but once we compared our choices, they all tasted quite similar, due... More

This is one of Houma's best kept secrets for sure. You have to order the fried chicken (you won't be disappointed)! It's crispy without being dry and is seasoned perfectly...the waitresses are very attentive and have that southern charm often missed. Overall, this is definitely a place to visit. You can even go around to the back of the restaurant... More

We were fortunate to be able to enjoy the Sunday dinner here after taking the Annie Miller's Son's Swamp Tour. The restaurant has the best Sunday dinner around. The staff is so nice and friendly and the Swamp Tour boat docks on the bayou in back. The fried chicken, rice dressing and potato salad are weekly favorites. Try it -... More

After a disaster on Friday, knew Saturday would be the same so wanted to be away from town. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, food is so-so. Had the pick three which came with a salad and your choice of potato. Had grilled oysters, stuffed shrimp and the crawfish. Oysters were tender, tails were tender and the stuffed shrimp was... More

We pulled into this restaurant late, hungry, and coincident with a huge crowd of assisted living seniors who were obviously having one of their favorite outings. The two hostesses graciously allowed us to order ahead of these folks and the food came out plentiful and fast. The gumbo was extraordinary and everything was really tasty. An authentic Cajun country experience... More

A local (can be crowded) seafood restaurant. Most of the seafood items are fried. Service is OK. I heard the burgers were delicious!
