Description: Milano and Aficionados are located in the heart of Downtown Houma,...
Milano and Aficionados are located in the heart of Downtown Houma, Louisiana. At Milano, our menu highlights traditional and contemporary Italian dishes, with a flare for other European and American influences. Our adjoining sister lounge, Aficionados, is open evenings and offers a full range of wines, beers, and premium liqueurs for our guest to chose from. We feature entertainment in both the restaurant and the lounge. In addition, we also offer a lighter, more economical weekday lunch service for our local business clientele. Delicious oysters, a strong 4

Three of us dined late on a stormy night, so few diners were there. Still, walking in was a welcoming experience. The greeting was warm as was the service. Tables and overall ambiance were quite inviting. Service was cheerful and responsive. This was my fourth trip over 6 years, and was every... read more

My husband and I went for New Year's Eve. It was packed of course and we had reservations but we were still seated a little late but they were so busy. We have been here many times for lunch and dinner and are never disappointed. I had the slow cooked beef rib which was like a roast and it was... More

In fairness I stopped in here for beverages in early evening. Despite the fact that the bistro promotes itself as having a happy hour, there was no apparent food special and drink special was limited to a nightly cocktail promotion. Service was just fine, not exceptional.

I have enjoyed every visit to Milano's. The food and ambiance are amazing, especially with the piano player. I attend before going to the theatre productions---a perfect evening!

My wife and I were visiting Houma and gave Milano a try for dinner. The décor and ambience of the restaurant are very nice and my steak was well prepared and well served. We recommend you give them a try if visiting Houma.

Top dining in Houma comes down to Milano and Cristiano's. Both have excellent food and ambiance. Been to this place a few times since it changed ownership. Every time has been a great experience. Good food, drinks, decor, and sometimes they have live music to complete your dining experience. Tip: On Wednesdays, they have 2 for 1 bottles of wine.

I was lucky to get a reservation on Valentine's Day for my wife and I. (They were extremely popular) Milano's had a delicious select menu, courteous servers, classy ambience, and even treated the ladies with a rose at the end of the night. If you are looking for romantic spot for that special occasion...this is it!

Went for dinner with a large group of colleagues after a conference in Houma. Service was great. The chef & owner came to the table to meet us. Everyone enjoyed their meal selections. The chef even customized a few menu items for some. We also enjoyed the 2 for 1 martini drink special for the day!

We finally went back to Milano. We haven't been since the name and atmosphere change. I love the bright white decor, hubby wasn't as taken as me. We had Oysters Lafourche and Bacon and Duck Bites. The later was absolutely yum! The oysters didn't have the same sauce we both remember, somewhat of a let down, but still very good.... More

We went to Café Milano the day after Valentine's day on Feb 15. Restaurant was not busy when we arrived at 6:30 and by the time we left it was not at capacity. Atmosphere was very romantic and food was very good. Although our server, Kenneth was very knowledgeable and friendly, he lacked attentiveness. It took a very long time... More
