Great Local Hangout, Good Food

First time visit, greeted, seated and attended to promptly and with great southern hospitality. Modest draft beer selection, I was able to sample to select my favorite. Large quantity of food for the price, fresh, local seafood meal selections by the pound. I had a Shrimp Caesar Salad which was... read more

This is a must on every trip to Houma! The best Gator and Crawfish I've ever found! The staff is always super friendly as well.

First time visit, greeted, seated and attended to promptly and with great southern hospitality. Modest draft beer selection, I was able to sample to select my favorite. Large quantity of food for the price, fresh, local seafood meal selections by the pound. I had a Shrimp Caesar Salad which was sufficient and delectable. Worth the visit, I will return.

Found both food & service to be very good. Clean facilities. Try their Crawfish, Shrimp, Alligator. Seasonings where mild enough for sensitive palette's, and still provide good taste

Are there on a Friday night. They were very busy but were seated quickly. Service was friendly and relatively prompt, given how busy they were. The catfish was good and was the chicken. Prices are reasonable but not inexpensive.

My students and I came in March for a planning session at a local school and were treated to a dinner at Big Al's. It was delicious. We came back recently for the conference and decided to eat there again before we left. We were not disappointed. Wife had great grilled tuna seared on outside but pink inside. My soft shell crab was good. Onions rings kinda skinny but tasty. Friendly service. Nice place for families and couples.
