The staff and food were both horrible... the waitress complained right in front of us that the hostess sat another table in her area... the food was disgusting

We try and make a trip to Big Al's Seafood whenever we are in Houma. Enjoy great food and service with a reasonable price.

We heard great reviews of this restaurant and then found out try meant before management changed. The food was bland. Large portions but a waste of good and money when the food doesn't taste good. Really disappointed because we were looking forward to some great cajun home cooking.

The boiled seafood's don't taste like Cajun boiled seafood, to much pepper maybe because they use the same water for all boils and just add more pepper.

Big Al's always has the best seafood in town. When we go there we ask for Ms. Rebecca, she's the best server there! The others may be good, but Rebecca's the BEST!!! The boiled seafood is seasoned to perfection & the fried seafood is never over cooked. From the raw oysters on the half-shell to the charbroiled oysters, fried alligator... More

It may not be fair of me to rate this place, but since I was responsible for a $270 bill for 5 people, I figure I have the responsibility. The place reminds me of an American seafood place that would be built in China. You have to like this kind of thing, and I am frankly a meat and potato... More

Great, friendly service, pretty reasonable prices for such fresh, in season seafood. Hubby had a pound of crawfish, which he said was the best he'd ever had. I had the Combo Seafood Platter which had grilled shrimp, grilled catfish, grilled oysters and grilled soft shell blue crab. It was all excellently prepared and delicious. Our server was very accommodating as... More

I have family here and we go out to eat at this restaurant every time. They have the best boiled shrimp. I have loved every thing I have tried here. The seafood tastes so fresh too. Love it!

We were there on a Wednesday and we had to wait for a table> I think the hostess was new and didn't really know how to assign seating. The food was great but $13.95 for a po-boy? Without fries? For that price, the cook should come out and tell me that I look skinny in these jeans.

Never a bad meal here, if it was I would send it back. Fried Pickles, great Crawfish and their seafood platter is wonderful. May seem crowded from the street, but not a long wait for a table.
