One of our favorite restaurants..

When my husband and I are in the mood to take a little drive to go eat, we usually end up at Pat's Fisherman's Wharf. On a beautiful day in the fall or spring when temps are right, there's nothing more enjoyable than having lunch out on the back deck. We usually order the same thing, which if I... read more

Classic small-town restaurant with good food and waitresses who have been there for 35 years and call you "chere." It has a full bar (of course it does, this is Louisiana!) with pretty limited wine and beer selection. We shared the catfish bites appetizer which was excellent. Nice mild-flavored catfish and yummy batter/breading. I had crawfish half and half -... More

In the old days, you would wait 1.5 hours for a table......now you get seated immediately, but you wait for your food for 1.5 hours. Not good, actually, really bad food. Had two glasses iced tea, one small shrimp and okra gumbo, and crab au gratin. Total cost $ 65.00, and the tea was the best of the lot. Gumbo... More

We were passing through here at dinner time and decided to chance it after seeing them rated #1 on TripAdvisor in this area. It turned out to be a good choice. But beware, there aren't almost any vegetarian choices, it is all seafood (and chicken/meat, but who eats chicken when on the coast?). Our server was excellent, pleasant, polite and... More

Good local Cajun cooking, but we were totally overwhelmed by the vast portion sizes. So much so that our charming waitress kindly supplied 'doggy boxes' to take away what we'd failed to consume! Certainly the place to go if you have a BIG appetite!

As we were heading to our Airboat Tour you can miss going over the bridge and seeing the patio of Pat's. After our Tour we decided to stop at Pat's. It was highly recommended. This is a real jewel and even if you aren't in the area a place to definitely stop and have some great food and drinks. We... More

We've gone to Pat's several times over the years and have enjoyed the corn and crab bisque. It was over 5 years ago when we last visited, so when passing through the area, we stopped for lunch for that great corn and crab bisque. My wife ordered the $12.95 portion, and when I ordered the same, the waitress said that... More
