Dining on the water in a classic cajun setting is enjoyable but the service and food disappointing for the price. Being a Louisianan, I like spicy food, but even the fried catfish platter and alligator bite appetizer was way too hot for my husband. My crab sampler platter had shells in a lot in of the items. My husband wound... More

Loved the location by the river and the passing alligators. The food was great- local seafood, catfish, crab, shrimps, deep fried with spicy sauce. One of the best meals we have had in the USA.

The food was great. I ate here 3 times in one weekend. The catfish was the best I have ever had. We had a large group and they accommodated us with no issues.

We ate at Pat's after getting several recommendations from friends and family. It was outstanding. I had the fried seafood platter, my wife had shrimp etouffee and my kids had fried shrimp. It was excellent. All of it. The service was great and our waiter did a good job. My son was able to go out on the deck and... More

I will say I like the fried alligator bites, but the crawfish in the ettoufee was gray so it was either still raw or bad. Being able to eat on the water was nice and we were visited by a hungry gator.

This casual restaurant has a great Cajun ambiance, not a tourist trap. Food was cooked fresh, crab cakes were homemade as was the onion rings and fantastic! Shrimp Po-boy had fresh, perfectly fried shrimp that offered plenty! Would recommend to anyone traveling through for authentic Cajun food.

This is the reason I travel to Bayou Country. We enjoyed our seafood lunch so much that we went back the next day. We sat outside overlooking the bayou and watched fishermen catching one fish after another. I had the best shrimp po'boy, it was tender and the coating was light and not overwhelming the shrimp. My companion had the... More

After driving all the way to go to this restaurant I was disappointed in the food. I had order the onion rings and Pat's Huval Seafood platter. The onion rings didn't have any taste. And the Seafood Platter was a disappointment. Other tables had been served fresh bread but we didn't get any. Our waitress couldn't care less. Never will... More

Never in my life have I ever complained to a waiter or restaurant manager about the quality and/or taste of an entree until today, but it was so bad that I had to speak up. I ordered the special, a grilled tuna salad. The tuna steak was tasteless, and it clearly WAS NOT GRILLED. I truly believe it was baked.... More

Great food in a casual setting with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking bayou. Traditional cajun fare (Etoufee etc) and a few chef-inspired specials. The sea bass with grits & remoulade was quite good. My dad had the blackened redfish and it was excellent. Try the crab-stuffed mushrooms appetizer.
