Just one of the places you should not miss

Food is always great here. We travel a couple of times a year to eat at Pat's by boat. They have a wharf for easy access. We usually order a variety of appetizers so we get to taste a little of everything. Dance club is attached for music and dancing on Saturday nights and Sunday evenings.

I have been stopping here for more than 30 years travelling through on I-10 for work and vacation. Have introduced a lot of folks to cajun food here. Great cajun food, fresh seafood. Just like home cooking. Very friendy and helpful staff. On this trip we stayed overnight in Lafayette and went on the Champagne Swamp tour (Breaux Bridge) late... More

I am very unhappy with my experience at this restaurant today. We were not even greeted when we walked in (should have been a clue). Just looked at us until we asked for a table for 2. After we were seated, we were brought water. My water had something in the bottom of the glass, so I assume it was... More

I'm pissed! After a long trip..we stopped at pats for lunch...reviewed menu and asked waiter if the prices were correct...yep...and they expect tips above and beyond.... Ordered the crab cake and baked potato. 40 minutes later (after two request to find our meal) we got up and left....the waiter caught us at the front door stating our meal was on... More

We've eaten at Pat's for many years and reviews suggesting the food has declined in quality are way off the mark! I've never had anything at Pat's that wasn't fresh, delicious, and wonderfully presented. The gumbo is full of seafood, the crab etouffe is packed with lump crab, the bisque is divine, the crawdads perfect... Pat's is alive and well...don't... More

I was so excited when we first got there. It is the cutest little place. That's all it has going for it though. We wanted to sit on the patio but it was closed. I wanted oysters (which is on the menu) they don't serve them anymore, no crawfish either. The place was so cold my teeth were chattering! The... More

My fiancee wanted some Cajun food, so I took her to one of my favorite spots from years ago. I really wish I hadn't. The service during the meal was fine, but it took a long time to get seated and even longer to pay our bill, despite not being crowded at all. We sat outside and the atmosphere on... More

The location is great, and the service friendly, but the food was really mediocre. Not well seasoned, everything on my 'sampler' plate tasted the same. Some of the fried foods were ok, but overall, I was disappointed.

I had been told about this place and was looking forward to a treat. Unfortunately I think we arrived on a bad day or time. Sorry to say that we went out onto the 'terrace', the tables needed cleaning. I ordered 'Alligator' bites which I thought I would try...maybe Alligator is supposed to be dry and tasteless? Ah well. I... More
