Unique versions of Cajun foods. Highly recommend. Grilled choices for the health conscious. The corn & crawfish soup was wonderful.

This is a great place to get a selection of New Orleans classics. If you like fried seafood poboys, this place does a good job. The Shrimp salad is not your diet salad. The shrimps are piled high and delicious. And the VooDoo rolls (think egg rolls with crawfish etouffee) are a fantastic appetizer. I've been to both the Bucktown... More

I originally went here to meet up with a few friends who had arrived before me. First, it was very difficult to get a hold of the server, but when I did I quickly placed my order. I can't remember exactly what I ordered, but I know it was fish with potato salad. The server first brought me the potato... More

Stuffed catfish was Enjoyable. The Caesar salad did not skimp on the shrimp served. LOADED. Don't forget to try the voodoo rolls. The dipping sauce puts it over the top.

A friend took us to the restaurant because Copeland's was closed due to moving. The food was great. Hubby ordered grilled oysters for the first time and loved them. From the hush puppies to the bread pudding everything was great. If you are looking for ambiance, this isn't the spot more of a family restaurant. Take the family and enjoy... More

I was in town for the Essence Festival. I had never been to Harvey and really needed a place to eat with great food and not ridiculous prices made to trap tourists. Of course I checked trip advisor and all the previous reviews were exactly right. This food was great. I had grilled catfish stuffed with crab and it came... More

We went to New Orleans Food and Spirits for a late lunch after going to an early matinee. Although I have tasted bits of food from there, I have never had a meal there. It's a very casual restaurant, and it was very crowded. We had a short wait for a table even though it was after 1:00 pm on... More

We have eaten here many times. We have never ordered anything we didn't love. The wait was 20 minutes on a Friday night, but there we lots of people waiting, even outside when we left. I would suggest to go before 6:00pm on a weekend if you don't like to wait. The service was fast. It's a casual place. We... More

Have not been to this place in years so decide to stop in for lunch. A bit crowded but got seated in 10 minutes. Service was very good. I had the popcorn shrimp salad. Expecting small shrimp I was surprised to have my large salad topped with about 20 large fried shrimp. Delicious. Most at our table was please with... More
