A friend took us to the restaurant because Copeland's was closed due to moving. The food was great. Hubby ordered grilled oysters for the first time and loved them. From the hush puppies to the bread pudding everything was great. If you are looking for ambiance, this isn't the spot more of a family restaurant. Take the family and enjoy... More

I was in town for the Essence Festival. I had never been to Harvey and really needed a place to eat with great food and not ridiculous prices made to trap tourists. Of course I checked trip advisor and all the previous reviews were exactly right. This food was great. I had grilled catfish stuffed with crab and it came... More

We went to New Orleans Food and Spirits for a late lunch after going to an early matinee. Although I have tasted bits of food from there, I have never had a meal there. It's a very casual restaurant, and it was very crowded. We had a short wait for a table even though it was after 1:00 pm on... More

We have eaten here many times. We have never ordered anything we didn't love. The wait was 20 minutes on a Friday night, but there we lots of people waiting, even outside when we left. I would suggest to go before 6:00pm on a weekend if you don't like to wait. The service was fast. It's a casual place. We... More

Have not been to this place in years so decide to stop in for lunch. A bit crowded but got seated in 10 minutes. Service was very good. I had the popcorn shrimp salad. Expecting small shrimp I was surprised to have my large salad topped with about 20 large fried shrimp. Delicious. Most at our table was please with... More

Wow!! Terrific, excellent food. Pricey, but generous portions. The best customer service. Very attentive and helpful. Shrimp po’ boy was huge. Tasty, buttery light shrimp. Not heavy or oily. New Orleans grilled chicken sandwich. Big chunks of chicken a bit dry. Tasty sauce and fabulous fries. Catfish and shrimp Lafayette over angel hair. Scrumptious!! Best cream sauce ever!!! Pecan encrusted... More

Come here often with my family and never had a time where I thought the food was bland or nasty. It is a favorite for us on the Westbank. They get pretty packed at lunch and dinner time so expect a short wait.

They lack customer service, As in they have none at all. Here is New Orleans/Metairie there are seafood restaurants on every corner. And most of them will give you a better dining experience then this place.

I usually go to this restaurant on Thursday for their white beans, catfish and potato salad. I really like this dish.
