The Best Seafood in the New Orleans Area

As a frequent patron of New Orleans Food and Spirits, I can honestly say it is the best seafood restaurant in town. I have never had a bad meal here. Found this restaurant while searching the web for a late dinner. At first the strip mall appearance was a little of a turn off, and the interior was open and noisy. Our meal was very good and the drinks were definitely strong. The highlight of the night was ending the meal with an amazing serving of the bread pudding. Out... More

We found this restaurant based on the Trip Advisor review. We had a little wait, and spent some time chatting with a local couple who comes here often, which we took as a good sign. For our apps, we ordered Oysters Rockafeller, Voodoo eggrolls, and spinach artichoke dip, all of which were perfect. For dinner, we had fried catfish and... More

Met some friends there for supper. Food was really good, and you get large portions. Drinks are worth the money, too. Our server was wonderful! If we are ever back in this area we will definitely eat there again.

This small, unassuming restaurant on the Westbank is what New Orleans cuisine is all about! Fresh, authentic, addictive are just some of the adjectives I can use to describe this place. I used to live five minutes away and would have the rabbit with white beans every Thursday. If you want a real lunch to remember, have the seafood pirogue!... More

No one makes better fried shrimp that New Orleans. Their Shrimp poboys (submarine sandwich from Louisiana) are awesome. So over stuffed that you have to eat some of the shrimp before you can fold it. The Gumbos is also great. Waite staff is awsome.

We has a group of 35 and they had a room in the back ready for us. The food and service were awesome. Our family had fish tacos, gumbo, blackened shrimp pasta and a kids cheese pizza. All were great. It's in a strip mall, but don't let that stop you. Visit this restaurant if you're in Harvey.

Don't be fooled by the strip mall location, modest décor and casual crowd. The food is the attraction here. We started with the seafood gumbo. It was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The bowl portions were so large that we shared an individual crawfish pizza. It too was really tasty and substantive enough for two people. Our waitress was very pleasant... More
