This is a family friendly breakfast and lunch place- the best thing here, in my opinion is the triple berry pancakes- they are a little slice of heaven! They also have great beignets. They can get busy on the weekends and the service is sometimes rushed but the food is great! Lunch times are better--less crowded and their lunch sandwiches... More

Sort of off the beaten path, had to drive up and down Manhattan Blvd several times to find, our Garmin was going crazy "recalculating, recalculating....". Server seemed to be in a rush to get order, $33.00 (tip included) for 2 sandwiches and drinks (non-alcohol). The place was virtually empty except for 2 other couples. Check was literally tossed at us,... More

We ordered mini benguits to start and she completely forgot to get them. My breakfast order came out completely wrong. When I brought it to her attention, she acted like it was my fault. other issues came up but she didn't care or seem to care. When we mentioned the benguits, she brought the out at the END of the... I go to Parrot Pete's for one thing and one thing only.....the Triple Berry Cake! Several years ago I had a slice of this heavenly confection at a friend's house and I have never looked back. It is hands down the BEST cake I have ever had! REAL cream frosting cradles layers of moist vanilla cake with a hint of... More

I love Parrot Pete's for its outside seating and for one particular dish - The Best Bank sandwich. It is turkey, bacon, avocado, and honey mustard served on a croissant. I'm not big on breakfast food so when hubby is craving a brunch, we head here and I get either a Best Bank sandwich or a garlic chicken salad. The... More

I just happened upon the reviews for Parrot Pete's as I hadn't thought about reviewing it personally 'til seeing the surprisingly negative reviews here. I've been going to Parrot Pete's regularly since they opened and have NEVER been disappointed. The food is always good and fresh. I love the breakfast's, particularly the burrito, and I love the lunches, particularly the... More

I got a salad and paid $12 for something I could have very easily made at home...looked and tasted like a salad from my elementary school cafeteria. My husband had a sandwich, and it was dry and cold in the middle, even though it was a panini.

We have learned the secret to dining at Parrot Pete's. You must always ask to sit in Rudy's section. He is the only person on their staff that loves his customers, aims to please, and will check on you constantly. He remembers your face and is a pleasure to have serve you. We will always leave the restaurant if he... More
