Koz's does it right, with hot plate specials, po-boys, and top notch fried seafood. I wouldn't call this Cajun food, but it is definitely New Orleans comfort food. Koz is quite a character. My mechanic's shop is a couple of doors away across Hickory, which was very convenient! Sorry if some patrons had bad experiences; you must have caught them... More

Dirty, LOUD employees and the food was COLD... not to mention not cheaply priced. We drove 25 minutes and waited 30 minutes for a chicken dinner that was supposed to be cooked to order, only to have it arrive cold. We were going to order quite a bit extra for the road trip but opted to not order another item.... More

This is a typical neighborhood restaurant….specials on the chalkboard, staff that recognizes you and good food in large portions. It was a New Orleans institution in Gentilly before Katrina forced them to move to Harahan. Thus, some of the items, like “Chamber of Horrors”, date back to when those watching basketball games at the University of New Orleans used to... More

My son-in-law wanted a place with high chairs and Cajun food, good Cajun food....he got both! You walk in and grab a table if it's lunchtime and people are rushing to get it. This is old style River Parish food with the menu written on the wall. You order up front, while looking at the wall. You meal is brought... More

This is it! Their shrimp Po Boy was crisp, bursting with flavor and sizzling fresh. The shrimp must have been marinated before being dipped in the delightfully flavorful batter and flash fried for just the right crunch. I wanted two but only ate one b/c there were so many shrimp in it! Also shared the jambalaya, black eyed peas and... More

Not only are they rude, but the food is swimming in grease. Very little hospitality! No parking; dirty tables; loud workers! Move on!

This place may be the real thing when it comes to Po Boy's, A huge selection of concoctions to choose from, all on a wonderful bread that doesn't pull your teeth out when bite it. I had order up several of the "long-whole loafs " for a group of Doctors,It looked so good i drove over after my appointment and... More

Boy was this place a treat. Simple, standard New Orleans fare; Po-Boys and plates but man they were good. A nice place. Great prices and fantastic food. Definitely worth a second trip.

Awesome food..but really what I love is the barks rootbeer bottles. The employees treat everyone like family. Also, the employees are so nice and make sure you have everything you need before you leave. Wonderful restaurant.

These people do not know how to run a business. Also the food has way to much salt.
