Tuesday 11/10 dinner after Cross Country race in Hammond

We were at a Cross country race just north of Trey Yuen Tuesday night and were too hungry to make it home and had to drive right by this place. THere were 3 of us (my wife and I , and our teenage runner daughter). We had the Dinner for 3 and picked MooGoo Gai Pan (this was the best... read more

We've gone to Trey Yuen for decades. The restaurant building was built in the 80's if I am remembering correctly. The building has a timeless Chinese beauty, but is showing signs of wear for sure. The menu has something for just about everyone. Over the years, we've found that the menu and food has consistent flavors. Trey Yuen consistently does... More

The food is good but you come for the atmosphere. The wait staff needs to be whipped into shape . But again its great.

My husband and I were excited to be in the area and the opportunity to eat at Trey Yuen! It had been a favorite for many years even though we didn't get there often. We live in Baton Rouge. We ordered three meals from the lunch menu. Two to eat there and one to take out. We were served one... More

We recently tried Trey Yuen after several years. We were very disappointed with the quality of the food and feel like the food and service has gone downhill! Nothing tastes fresh and I have eaten better food at an airport takeout. Not sure what has occurred to have such a drastic change but I would not recommend it. From the... More

My husband and I celebrated our 20th anniversary yesterday. He is a very traditional kind of guy and wanted to go to a restaurant that we went to before we were married, so he chose Trey Yuen. We drove from Central, which is north of Baton Rouge. It took us right under an hour with traffic to get there. We... More

Always busy and great place to bring family or out of town friends. the landscaping around the restaurant is always fun to browse through and the food is consistently good with a great family behind every detail.

This was my first visit but I have heard good things about this restaurant for 20 years. I thought I would give it a try on my way back to New Orleans. I arrived early (5:30) on a Tues night and wasn't sure if the place was still open. The decor is very Chinese - some parts could use some... More

I haven't been here in a while. I live 20 miles away but was always a fan of Trey Yeun even when it was China Inn. Got on tripadvisor and read the reviews. We dined there last month and last night and the food was superb. The north dining room had been redone and at 7:30 it was packed on... More
