sushi appears to be the specialty. The food was good though. I would go back after trying other places

We had a large group for dinner on a Friday evening and were fortunate enough to have a separate room. The server(s) were spectacular and spot on starting with drink orders to appetizers and entrees. The room we were in was nice and perfect for our group of 16. Drinks and appetizers were delicious as well were the steaks and... More

The crusted tuna looked so good on the lunch menu that I had to try it. I order rare, with the dream of a seared piece of crusted tuna with the entire middle red. It arrived well done which was very disappointing. The flavor was good and I was in a hurry or I would have sent it back. The... More

We eat at Cate Street at least a couple of times a month and have determined that they have the best Sushi in town. Their other dishes have never disappointed us either. Level of service is dependent on your individual server which is drawn from the local college students, but we have always been satisfied.

We are full tie RV' ers and I when we stop for over night I love eating at local restaurants. We found Cate Street by accident as we have so many other places. The menu was quite extensive and included one dozen wings for 5 bucks with a drink purchase. A surprise was an extensive sushi menu. I would normally... More

I had the fried shrimp and catfish combo. It came with fries and hush puppies. I did not care for the hush puppies because I like mine without seasoning in them. The other people at my table ate them and said they were good. I wish the fries would of been cooked more but that is just me. The shrimp... More

The tilipia was nicely presented, flavorful and fresh tasting. Fried okra was a generous serving and the bake potato "all the way"...butter, sour cream, cheese was hot and fresh. My friend had two varieties of sushi, calamari and a shrimp, avocado blend...high marks on both. We also enjoyed a chocolate porter beer...Shake Chocolate Porter I think was the name...dark, creamy... More

I came here on a business meeting and while my sushi was delicious (as always) our appetizer was pathetic. We ordered mozzarella sticks and there was NO cheese in 4 out of the 5 mozzarella sticks on the plate. We broke them apart to check for cheese and obviously told the server that we didn't want them. He apologized and... More

The seafood pesto pasta was very bland. The snow crab legs tasted like they had been soaked in water for 2 days since they had no spice. The steak, fried shrimp and fried catfish was good. The fried mushroom appetizer was a very generous portion.
