Jacmel is my husband's and my favorite restaurant. We have never had any bad food from here. Perfect place to celebrate special occasions and date nights!

I had the chance to visit Jacmel Inn over the weekend for the first time. I am not from the Hammond, LA area and knew nothing of this restaurant so I was a bit skeptical. WOW! Were my expectations exceeded in every way. I arrived at Jacmel Inn for a "date night" and arrived before my date. I was instantly... More

Ask any of the friendly staff for the details. Starting with French onion soup. While tasty I thought it was rushed. The gruyere cheese on top was barely melted. Needs to... More

Lots of menu choices with a great atmosphere. It's a very romantic place. The food quality is very good. Parking is a little challenging, but it's absolutely worth the trip.

After a long day of travel, we were treated to a delicious meal at Jacmel Inn. The fried Brie was great, but rather small to share. Seafood pasta had plenty of crab, shrimp, etc. and Hubby's steak was superb. Nice wine selection both by glass and bottle. We were too full for dessert BUT Hubby needed some ice cream. The... More

well used to be great years ago, recently and recent past, not so great. Had fish last time I was there, it definitely was not fresh. The veggies were over cooked, the salad limp from heat.
