We went for the salt and pepper squid, which we had previously- waiter screwed order and forgot to include this item, so it came after we were done! We had a very difficult time talking with our particular waiter. He didnt understand English and it was so very noisy, we couldn't hear much of what he said. The com nep ap... More

They have a huge menu and the portion sizes are generous. However, the food is average or a little bit better. The Pho is good and also the friend rice served in a hot pot. However, nothing is outstanding. Just an average place to have Vietnamese food.

A few places report Tan Dihn is the best or second best in an area heavily populated by Vietnamese people. As an amateur Pho-natic, I try Pho everywhere I go, so I was fairly disappointed by Tan Dihn's flavorless broth, poor service and skimpy portions. The Bahn Mi was the shining spot in an otherwise waste of money.

The calamari and egg rolls were delicious. They had very big portions. Our waitress was hard to find at time; however, other staff were very helpful. Enjoyed my lunch!

We ordered the chicken salad as a starter and had enough there for two main courses and still some left over to take home! Followed by shrimp vermicelli and shrimp curry. Again, had plenty to take home for another meal for two. Service good. The only drawback (common in many Vietnamese restaurants in New Orleans) was they had two TVs... More

We had heard great reports, including our daughter just a week ago. Perhaps not entirely fair, showed up unknowingly at closing time (8:30 PM!). Still . . . Greeted warmly, seated in a warmer spot in a mostly empty cavernous and father formulaic room. Ordered a beer and a wine (me & wi), spring rolls and egg rolls. The spring... More

First visit to this restaurant. Started with deep fried calamari and jalapeno - very tasty, not too spicy. Had the chicken pho. Plenty of meat, no vegetables in it. Service good, very busy lunchtime. Lots of Vietnamese eating there. A good sign.

This place has really good pho with more meat options than most, and the service is fast and friendly.

We've been eating at Tan Dinh for about 9 years and truly believe they are the best. It's worth a trip to the "BestBank". We always order our favorites: jasmine iced tea, coconut water, fried eggrolls, large rare flank pho, pork po-boy, vermicelli noodle bowl w/ charbroiled pork, and hot vietnamese coffee w/ condensed milk. If you haven't tried their... More

The prices are very nice and the food is as well. There style of dishes in my eyes reminds me Tan Dinh's idea of home cooked food. I suggest the Pork Chops they are very tasty.
