When you give tips it's not for the food it's for the waitress and you know I'm telling the truth but you could lie to get people to come to your restaurant it's your business so of coarse your going to lie but I know what I experienced. Everybody experience will be different but that night was awful to me... More

My husband and I arrived there around 7:30 PM it took about 10 minutes before someone seated us and we ordered an appetizer and when the waitress came back to the table she told us that the kitchen was closed but they didn't close until 9pm and the owner was very mean and rude to one of his employee's the... Angela: has never worked in the service industry apparently or she would understand the staff were new and in training, there was no 10 min. wait, she was seated ASAP I would like to call it as I see it (exaggeration) the crab cakes are over 72% crab meat and made locally and fresh one of our best dishes. I... More

We stopped here for a late lunch and found the food wonderful. This seems to be something of a hidden gem. The staff was a little awkward, but extremely pleasant - always smiling and constantly helpful. The shrimp gumbo was authentic and very well prepared - as was the corn chowder. The crab cakes were a good size with large... More

Unexpectedly and completely by chance, one of the best down to earth Cajun country charm restaurants I have ever been to. Excellent food, with a chef unafraid to speak to everyone and make you feel at home. Great diversified menu, not to over the top spicy. In other words flavorful and thoughtfully prepared food. Nice clean atmosphere with staff willing... More

Eric Weil, owner and chef since 1978, makes wickedly good crab and corn chowder and trout frangelico that bests Emerils. Where Emerils obscures the flavor of the meat with heat and kicking it up a notch and out of bounds, Chef Eric enhances the meat with spice and liqueurs. The white chocolate bread pudding is a subtle and satisfyingly not... More

If you are looking for good Louisiana cooking, Cafe Lafourche is the place to go. The food is wonderful. The Seafood Stuffed Potatoe is as big as the plate and one of my favorites. There are many choice on the menu and the staff great. P.S. If you are going try to insult someone, learn how to spell first! It... More

Over priced and not good at all. The sirloin tips were a disgusting block of some sort very tough beef. I ordered mine medium and it was very well done. It was tasteless and I'd rather eat my shoe. Our kids had the "kids chicken strips" meal. It wasn't on the menu but the waitress said it was one of... More
