Wonderful experience!

Visited on Saturday night April 25, mostly by chance. A local band, Unfinished Business, was playing some good old time rock and roll. Every year we do a road trip for 3 weeks somewhere in the states, this year touring around parts of Texas and Louisiana. We found this restaraunt when doing our research and made it our night stop after doing a couple of the plantations during the day. Fortunatly we had booked as it was a friday night and extremly busy... More

I was in town for a business lunch. The Food was very good. We started with the Crabmeat stuffed mushrooms... Outstanding ! Our entrees were good. My grilled shrimp salad had a nice kick to it. The other Spinach stuffed chicken had a great presentation and tasted wonderful.

We enjoyed crawfish cornbread with crawfish étouffée and crab cakes for lunch. Our helpful waitress then suggested the white chocolate bread pudding. OMG, all was delicious.

I ate here with a group of five people. We all had something different. We all loved EVERYTHING we ordered. The waitress and hostess were lovely both in appearance and waitstaff ability. Best food and dinner setting I enjoyed while in Louisiana.

Our host at the Auberge du Chene Vert (great B&B) suggested Grapevine for dinner. We thought it was a little out of the way and when we got there...we realized everyone that goes out in the parish (county) eats there. Great food, amazing service. We didn't have any reservations (I recommend you make them) , but we were able to... More

Had a great lunch while traveling on business with a local. He did the ordering and gave me a good taste of the local cuisine. The place is interesting with art and the food is good with good service. Enjoyed it.

The guide book recommended this place for it's bread pudding so since it was too early for lunch we went in and ordered just the pudding. It was delicious and and looking back, we regretted not having stayed for lunch, as everything we saw around us looked amazing and tasty. The staff were very friendly and chatty.

The ambience, the food and the service were second to none !!! The restaurant is located in an old building that creates an excellent atmosphere for Cajun / Creole cuisine... The food was excellent and was perfectly prepared and presented. "Tammy" was our server and was excellent !!! She knew the menu and promoted it quite well... It was a... More

My tech-savvy teenage son says to give your favorite restaurants only 4/5 stars, because you don't want them to get too crowded. But it would be an injustice to give this gem of a restaurant anything less than 5 stars. We visited on a Friday on our way back to Houston from New Orleans, after taking a side trip to... More
