Always enjoy this resturant. Friendly staff and tasty food. We are very fond of the burgers here...they are more than enough! Fried pickles, salads and yummy bread pudding are also very delicious.

Lunch with friends is always good here! Food is always great. It can be crowded at times but the good food makes up for it.

The location is awesome! Cute little downtown street in Denham Springs. Service is awesome, food is amazing. Swamp fries are an excellent start. The Dugas is great and the crawfish moulon is to die for! One of my best vacation restaurant experiences!!!

In a little cafe, seating for just under 50, resides a chef who obviously prepares her food with a great deal of passion. My lunch entree was Crawfish Étouffée topped with delicately fried shrimp. The portion was perfect, the sauce was creamy and delicious, served with a House Salad. I felt satisfied and reinvigorated not stuffed and sleepy which is... More

We were looking for a local restaurant for a late dinner. We stumbled upon this restaurant and will definitely be back next time we are visiting LA. The beat white beans and sausage I've ever eaten. My husband had the gumbo and crawfish étouffée. Everything was exceptional. And the service was just as wonderful. Definitely worth searching out this cafe... More

Ducking off the interstate during the Mardis Gras ice storm of 2014 we were looking for a good place to get lunch and wait for things to clear up a bit. Trip Advisor rated this highly and it was Mardis Gras, so we navigated over and boy were we happy! We were the first customers in, but it filled up... More

We were headed for a day of shopping in the antique district and decided to stop in for a bite. So glad we did. We had the Surf and Turf burger. It was soooo huge. A half pound pattie with blue cheese crumbles and fried shrimp on top of that. Served with seasoned fries that were also great. Neither of... More

I had the Crawfish Moulon and I was very happy. I felt like I was eating where the locals eat. It was priced right and I felt full and satisfied when I was done. Great beer specials. Waitress was extremely nice (most in Louisiana are). Hopefully I get a chance to go back! I did notice that a lot of... More

The Taste of Louisiana is in the antique district in old Denham Springs. You can hit the entire antique and enjoy a wonderful meal. Or make a special trip just to eat here. The restaurant is locally owned and run and this is where all the locals know to go. Almost every day they have an off- menu special, but... More

Nice little cafe located in the downtown antique district of Denham Springs, LA. I return here again and again to savor the surf and turf burger. The large burger topped with blue cheese and fried shrimp is a delight. Extra napkins are a must. Other Dishes include appetizers, huge salads and ample main courses that represent unique Louisiana inspired cuisine.
