Delicious!

There's very little here that wouldn't appeal to me admittedly! Their sweet dough pies, cookies and doughnuts are especially delicious!!!

The food is NEVER fresh. The brownies are obviously left overs with hard icing. As I'm sure there are other items that are left over as well. The workers are the best thing about this place. However, I wish I had lived in Crowley when this place was just born.

This bakery has not changed at all in 65 years! The creme puffs are in exactly the same location in the display case they were in then. And every bit as good. How do they do that? Every time I walk in the door, everyone working there and all the customers start up a conversation. You'll make some friends, have... More

I grew up in Crowley and remember the days when me and my brother couldn't wait until Sunday after church to head to Ruddock's for some donuts. I've been away from home for over 20 years now but every time I come to visit my parents, Ruddock's was a stop I always made. Through the years, the donut recipe has... More

Mrs. Vicki the new owner goes above and beyond. Quality people and great bakery products that you've always loved are still there at ruddock, just no prisoners across the street anymore in the exercise yard yelling at you as you pick up fresh donuts (parish prison moved :)

Ruddock's Bakery is the only place I've ever found that puts chocolate custard/pudding filling inside a chocolate eclair. They are wonderful. Other goodies are cream puffs, sand tarts (like wedding cookies), donuts, brownies, breads and rolls, and on and on. I grew up in Crowley and have to stop here whenever i'm in this area (unfortunately not so often as... More
