This rest. is only about 1-2 years old & boy have they put some money into this place. Great walkways & decking out back in a nature setting. The food was very good as well. Their cream of crawfish soup was one of the best on our 3 week trip. My husband had his first try with fresh oysters here... More

The atmosphere is really nice and all of the servers very attentive. Chargrilled oysters very good even with a poor quantity oyster season. Tried the special which was Ribeye Jacques. The steak had a very good flavor and I don't usually eat ribeyes. It was topped with a crawfish and crabmeat topping that was to die for! Even the sweet... More

One of the best beer selections I have seen. Many local. The food was great, especially since we stumbled in during happy hour and were treated to a dozen gulf oysters for less than $6. Great etoufee, gumbo, shrimp & grits, you name it.

In town from out of state to visit family. Local family brought is here to eat. Food was really good but the atmosphere is off putting. Very, very loud inside. Found it impossible to carry on a conversation with people out our table. Had to yell to be heard over loud music. One member of out party ordered a side... More

Average food. Great beer selection which is a great reason to go. Food is hit or miss, sometimes its good, sometimes its average. Oysters are good, chargrilled oysters are good too. We go often for work but after three sub average personal visits we go elsewhere in Covington for food.

We are from out of town, so this restaurant gave us a bit of a feel of what Louisiana was like. In the back of the restaurant was a Swamp river with live goats, turtles, tons of fish, even alligators & other weird creatures. They have a long deck to walk out on & my kids LOVED it! It was... More

A fun atmosphere and the food is to die for. The boudin balls are super and their hamburgers fantastic. The bread pudding is HUGE and wonderful!

Our waitress was very attentive. The food was good and the servings were large. My only complaint was that it was quite noisy and difficult to hear the others at the table.

Came here a little late for dinner, but they did have a night late night menu. There was variety enough to fit every taste. They were pretty busy but the service was prompt. It seems like a fun place for drinks and dinner with friends!
