great lunch location!

large resturant, great new orleans style menu, tons of space with a large bar and tv screens all over the place. sit outside facing the river if you are looking for a quieter meal.

The sevice was poor and the food worse. We ordered a seafood platter. It came with one piece of fish,a few shrimp, fewer oysters and about 5 pounds of fries. I've had better. The restaurant and grounds are beautiful. They should have put some of the money into the food.

Chimes was recommended to me by my work colleagues in the USA. It has a huge range of beers to choose from. I think the beer menu is bigger than the food menu. The food is also really good. Worth a visit if your in the area.

We've eaten here several times. Particularly enjoy the outdoor covered deck (with fans and tvs) - especially in milder weather. Nice view of the billy goats and raised, wooden walkway to the river. Good service. The burgers are particularly tasty, seasoned well and juicy - a nice sear but not overcooked. Chimes offers hundreds of beers - both on tap... More

50+ beers on tap, nuff said. Decent raw oysters, very good grilled oysters, very good crab cakes, ordinary fries, below average boudin balls, decent Margarita. Walkway out back for a constitutional and goats for the kids to admire..

Very cool environment with decent food. Mostly fried food and burgers but very tasty. Beer selection is fabulous! Defiantly a place to check out! Especially for the beer enthusiast! Very young waitstaff that seem slightly too self absorbed so they are not too friendly.

Unbelievable Oysters - some of the largest I've ever enjoyed! Everything was tasty & timely....gumbo & crab claws to the Oyster Po-Boy! Others enjoyed grilled fish & Ettouffe! One of my favorites restaurants anywhere!

My boyfriend and I have been to Chimes several times since moving to the North Shore a few months ago. The food is good. There is not an overwhelming number of choices on the menu, but everything I have had is yummy. My favorite is the NOLA BBQ shrimp po boy. It's enough food for two people to share and... More

The weather was nice so we sat outside. We ordered the charbroiled oysters which were delicious. Also the hush puppies and boudin balls.
