Neat restaurant with good food

Very cool environment with decent food. Mostly fried food and burgers but very tasty. Beer selection is fabulous! Defiantly a place to check out! Especially for the beer enthusiast! Very young waitstaff that seem slightly too self absorbed so they are not too friendly.

Unbelievable Oysters - some of the largest I've ever enjoyed! Everything was tasty & timely....gumbo & crab claws to the Oyster Po-Boy! Others enjoyed grilled fish & Ettouffe! One of my favorites restaurants anywhere!

My boyfriend and I have been to Chimes several times since moving to the North Shore a few months ago. The food is good. There is not an overwhelming number of choices on the menu, but everything I have had is yummy. My favorite is the NOLA BBQ shrimp po boy. It's enough food for two people to share and... More

The weather was nice so we sat outside. We ordered the charbroiled oysters which were delicious. Also the hush puppies and boudin balls.

Bar food type place with many beers on tap and big screen tv's. GREAT food and very reasonable prices.

We went here for beers and some snacks. The beer choices were amazing! The food was good and the service was attentive. My husband and I plan to go back often.

Went with a group of six. We arrived at about 3:30pm. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather and view. Service was quick and efficient! Food was hot and delicious! Cannot wait to go back!

Had been to the Chimes in Baton Rouge several years ago, and got the chance to eat here as part of of a large work group. The weather was beautiful, and we ate on the large back patio overlooking the nearby river. The service was excellent - they took great care of our large group, and readily moved to us... More

The service is spotty and the food is OK - sometimes very good though. It's a huge place and if LSU is on TV for anything you won't be able to hear yourself think. And if you're not a die-hard LSU nut - you'll be miserable

Needed a place to go after visiting the insta gator ranch...found a menu in their gift shop and decided to go...great food...nice atmosphere...they also have a viewing deck with goats, cats, chickens and ducks along with out door seating and a deck you can walk along the river...would recommend to anyone and would definitely go back.
