Great vibe, good cold beer

We opted to eat at the bar for immediate service rather than wait for a table. Our bartender was knowledgeable, friendly, prompt and helpful. The beer was very cold and great selection. This place was great! The onion rings and burgers were both off the chart. The restaurant itself looked comfortable. Seating was a bit hard as in the chairs and booths were hard as rocks but the food made up for it. The service was a bit off that's the only reason for 4 vs. 5 stars. I think our waitress... More

Food was amazing. Definitely go on Tuesdays for half priced oysters. Great beer selection and burgers are spectacular. If you're looking for a taste of New Orleans you can't miss with the New Orleans bbq shrimp. Atmosphere is fun as you can sit outside overlooking the "river". A true gem of a place.

We ate here on the recommendation of the desk clerk at a nearby motel. The restaurant is rather noisy due to wood floors, music, tv's, etc. We sat upstairs where the noise level was a little better. I ordered a combo plate of fried catfish and fried shrimp. It cam with French fries and a salad. And my husband ordered... More

Above average food. Hamburgers are of nice quality and taste. Fantastic variety of beers and knowledgeable staff to suggest pairings. We enjoy sitting on the deck and enjoying the outdoor view. Good sports bar, LOTS of Tvs - all tuned to LSU :) Basically a food/sports bar with nice accommodations, plenty of parking, lots of seating (inside, on huge wrap... More

I was doing a job in Covington and while there I came into this bar restaurant quite often and had a nice meal and a few beers. I would recommend this place.

I like two dishes here, the Red Beans and Rice and the Pork Chops (great value for cost). There is a Massive beer selection, and great views behind the bar (I'm only human). This is a good place for large groups. Great outdoor area, dog friendly outside, and lots of parking. They do tend to cater towards locals a little... More

As always, the place was packed. We only had a 20 minute wait and were seated upstairs. The atmosphere was crowded and loud due to small children at tables around us. Add the fact the upstairs area is directly above the bar. The staff are very friendly and quite fast. The food is good but not outstanding (I strongly recommend... More

Most of the food is heavy and/or fried. I had the salmon, grilled, and it was undercooked. I did like the side salad that came with my meal. The house dressing was very good-like a red pepper vinaigrette. The restaurant is very large and does get very crowded and loud when a big game is on.

Has the charbroiled oysters, artichoke - spinach dip. Was very good. Oyster boy, alligator, and BBQ shrimp with grits were very good. Recommend
