We arrived late to attend a wedding from out of town, only to realize that most all restaurants had closed down. The suggestion from a few locals was to give Chimes a try, and we were delighted we did! The atmosphere & chemistry of the restaurant was outstanding. A very comfortable feel. They have gone to great lengths to provide... More

The Chimes in Covington bears little resemblance to its forerunner in Baton Rouge. Stunningly beautiful interior, grounds abd on the Bogue Falaya river. Food is better than good - excellent burgers and awesome bar abd beer selection. Their chargrilled oysters are putiful - stick to what you know abd do well.

The Chimes offers wonderful oysters, both raw and char broiled. Other appetizers are excellent also including blackened gator bits, crab & shrimp cake. We did appetizers only both times we ate here. Setting is great too overlooking the river, goats and walkways. Service excellent.

We have been frequenting Chimes since it opened a few years ago. Service is good, the bar seating usually plentiful unless you go during a major sporting event, and taps aplenty. The beer menu is available online with full descriptions, serving sizes and pricing. There is a respectable selection of bottled beer too and the full service bar can make... More

It was 10pm on a Saturday evening and we stopped at Chimes on our way home for a very late dinner and we were seated almost immediately. The restaurant portion was not busy as most tables were empty but the bar was packed and extremely noisy. After about 5 to 10 minutes of waiting, a server approached, introduced herself and... More

They have all types of food offered, but this is an easy spot to grab a quick bite. Accessible by the river in the back, which is cool to walk out on while you are waiting for food. Tons of room for big groups and they are relatively quick with service. A good place to come visit if this is... More

The beer selection here is awesome!! the TV's are scattered nicely so you can watch some sports from most seats. The outside seating and pier walk down to the river is great. The food is just average maybe a little above average at best. I think the atmosphere is what has kept me coming back to this place.

I have done Brunch several times. The food is Great! Can be a little too busy for me during Football season. Eating outside with a view of the river on a really nice day is just wonderful.

first this picture is not of the Chimes in Covington. Service is not consistent. Always busy. If a large party you can call ahead to have your name put on list. Good menu. Food is not consistent either.

This is a restaurant for the younger crowd. Service was ok. Food is nothing special. The restaurants ambiance is wonderful and you want to be there. It!s a fun place to go for a burger.
