Had reservations at restaurant at 6:15 on a Saturday evening. When we arrived we were seated immediately and were offered cocktails and appetizers. Tables are very close together. We ordered after 15 minutes, drank our cocktails, ate our appetizer, order more cocktails, drank those, ordered again.....cocktails, now it is 7:15p.m. still no dinner. We waited, and waited. The restaurant was... More

They have a very fresh menu. On some Saturdays they have a food truck at the Farmer's Market. Love their fish tacos & Parmesan Truffle fries.

YUMMY FOOD served in a former Train Depot. My husband's BLT had lots of bacon. I had a wonderful lightly dressed chicken salad. The Humingbird Cake was really good! We were glad we tried Lola!

There is a great bar which is always crowded. The drinks are good and food delicious. I had the tuna which was perfect.

The restaurant is open for lunch, but also opens for dinners each Friday and Saturday. The group we dined with all enjoyed their meals so that covered many of the menu items. The kitchen in the caboose was kept hopping with orders. Having the restaurant in the historic train depot added a nice note of interest.

I have been to Lola's for both lunch and dinner and loved it every time. Lunches are huge for the price but you order up front so the line can get long. Get there around 1130 to beat the noon rush. Great atmosphere, yummy choices, quieter date night atmosphere for dinner, cool outside seating if it's a nice day. In... More

My wife and I made reservations here for a special occasion and were expecting something unique. Unfortunately, after waiting an additional 25 minutes for a table to be ready (despite having reservations) we were seated and forgotten about. Several other tables were seated and served in the hour it took for someone to even take our drink orders. The food... More

We lucked out staying in Covington, we were suppose to stay in New Orleans but somehow ended up here. It was a great start to our vacation by dining at Lola Restaurant. We had crab cakes and oyster 517 for starters. I liked the oysters, which were fried on a bed of spinach, the crab cakes were very good also... More

Lola, is a small romantic gem in downtown Covington that is well known by locals, and is worthy of a trip from the big city (New Orleans). The resturant is located in the old train station and a converted rail car acts as the kitchen, but everything else about the resturant is big city. From a delightful staff to generous... More
