One of my son's co-workers recommended Gallagher's Grill...said they had great food and great steaks. I've driven by this place many times and commented "I should try it some time"...I'm sorry I waited so long! Service was excellent, food was great and even though it's a-la-carte...the portions are enough to server 3-4 people. My son wanted to eat there for... More

We went here to celebrate my birthday. We did have a reservation and were seated immediately. Service was great and the food was even better. We started with an appetizer called Oysters Pablo. YUM! My husband also loved his turtle soup. Our entrees were pompano and grouper, both prepared with a delicious butter sauce. We were not disappointed.

We were looking for casual, no fuss dining after a long day sightseeing. The ads we looked at said casual dining, with a specialty of key lime pie. When we arrived, most men had jackets (I didn't), but we decided to stay--the place looked and smelled great! We were greeted and seated quickly and made to feel welcome. The menu... More

We went there on a Saturday night and although crowded our waiter treated us as if we were the only ones he had to serve. The steaks were absolutely delicious as was everything else we tried. A little pricey, but worth it. One hint - make reservations early as the time slots fill up quickly.

I have visited this restaurant several times and have enjoyed it each time. This time I tool my family and at the very start the waiter acted like he wanted to be somewhere else. He never went over the specials of the night and took forever to take our order. Each time my wife asked for a refill it was... More

This restaurant is a real treasure not only for the Northshore, but the entire greater New Orleans region. Pat Gallagher has created a special menu with a mixture of regional standards and unique creations . The Mixed Grill of quail and lamb chops is unbelievable terrific. Great staff and a friendly environment make Gallagher's a real treat.

Excellence in a small town. We are so lucky to have Gallagher's in Covington. Wonderful, consistent food and a fun bar. Always a treat.

We visited this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary at Gallagher's Grill, the restaurant had recieved good reviews. What we didn't know was that Covington had their Mardi Gras parade the same evening, so the restaurant was very busy when we arrived. This also meant that we were seated 30 min kate because people were "camping"... More

I cannot imagine a life without Pat Gallagher's stuffed chicken. I can live without a lot of things but not the stuffed chicken. Please tell me that more than one person in the world has the recipe. When the waiter comes from the kitchen with an order of stuffed chicken the aroma unknowingly attracts all of the patrons (with working... More
