A Must Visit!

Went here for the first time tonight with friends, on good review! Really impressed; amazing food, great environment and friendly staff. Will be going there again for sure! The burger (with cheese + bacon) was so good! (:

Went to the Rockingham tonight and being a vegetarian I often struggle for choice in many places but the staff I'm particular Andy couldn't have been more helpful completely adapted my meal for me as well as being fabulous with my dog. Really dog friendly place and the service was fantastic and went beyond what is expected of someone. Five... More

Been here before, thought things should be much better judging by the current reviews. Went on a Monday night. Pub only had 10 people in at most. For a pricey gastro pub everything should have been spot on. Unusual, Asked to pay up front for meal. Starters. Average quality. Main. My wife's fish and chips.... Fish batter burnt. Chips had... After finishing work late my husband and I decided to try the Rockingham Arms again. We went there several times when Upham's re-opened it. Athough some dishes were good, some were poor. Coupled with the quality/prices, we decided against eating there again. We should have stuck to that decision. We were given three paper menus. Asked to pay before we... More

We decided to visit the Rockingham with our two girls as we had heard great things about the food there? We had cause to be impressed, from the waitress who could not do enough to make us feel welcome, to the exciting menu! Andy our host was a delight and the food excellent. The calves' liver was melt-in-the-mouth and the... More

Stopped by for a quick lunch and were so glad we did. Viv had an egg sandwich which was enormous and I had a salt beef brioche - both came with a lovely and very chef-y salad and mine had a delicious pickle which could well have been home made. Really excellent food, fantastic menu and loads of room outside... More

Visited on Easter Monday 6/4/15 ... great location ... well refurbished ... clean and friendly. Also it is dog-friendly. We ordered a round of sausage & mustard sandwiches and a round of egg-mayonnaise and they arrived fairly quickly but somehow I couldn't fathom why the two sausages and egg mayonnaise were served in bread fully half an inch thick. My... More

My husband, son and 7 month old baby visited on the way back from beaulieu. We were greeted by a chap, who I think name was Andy and he was brilliant, provided us with a high chair and offered us baby changing as soon as we walked in. Food was great, my son had chicken breast in tempura batter, chips... More

The six of us (and one dog) walked in for lunch from the New Forest. Lovely food including an excellent crab special and terrifically quaffable local beers; a genuinely warming experience. Andy was amazing.

We ate there for the first time on Thursday, as we wanted to try somewhere different and the reviews were really good. We weren't disappointed. From start to finish, the staff (James and the others) were amazing, very friendly, attentive. Food was also great. My partner chose the £15 menu (broccoli soup, chicken, and Rockingham mess) and I had the... More
