One of The BEST seafood places

Love their fried fish and shrimp. Their rolls are the best I've EVER eaten in my life and they give you the sweetest butter to spread on them. So good..... My only complaint is on Sundays they are busy and we arrived there and no seats were available well others came behind us and were seated.... I... read more

We used to frequent this place but then it just sort of fell off the wagon with service and cold food, etc. We decided to quit going then to finally return back after a year. No change - took 15 minutes to get seated and the place was empty. A calibration of multiple buildings the entrance is not monitored well... More

Great food and great prices. Visiting family here and best meal ever, we visit here every visit. My sister had Andouillle sausage salad, nephew had seafood buffet, we had po' boys and red beans and rice. All great. Enough leftovers for tomorrow. Back again next visit. Great service and atmosphere.

The restaurant is a very unassuming place - a cobble of buildings put together seemingly without a plan. But do not let looks spoil your taste for some great bayou food. The menu pricing is normal for a seafood restaurant but the portion size is makes up for it. The alligator tail was cooked to perfection with just enough breading... More

We were on our Creole/ Cajun food crawl and finally ended up here on our way back to Texas from Nottaway Plantation. Just before reaching i-10 (I think it's a mile from the interstate), Louisiana Bayou Bistro is an awesome place if you want to eat outside the chain restaurants. Great seafood, great etouffee. I had Catfish Atchafalaya, with an... More

We were visiting my daughter in Addis and stopped at the Bayou Bistro for dinner. They have nightly specials and we hit the Fried Catfish night. I ordered the catfish and my wife ordered the Seafood Gumbo and Red beans & rice. The catfish were tender and tasty, some of the best I've had. The gumbo was delicious with just... More

I came on Thursday with my husband the Italian buffet and everything was amazing! Great food great selection. I came the next day with my father in law for Friday seafood buffet and was a little disappointed. Atmosphere and service still great but the seafood wasn't very impressive and while catfish Atchafalaya was on the menu, I couldn't find it... More

The buffet is very good on quantity and quality. Dessert is VERY good. About 5 minutes south of I-10 in Brusly. Parking can be a challenge, but it's worth the trip.

Stayed overnight outside Baton Rouge. This place was recommended by the clerk at the hotel. Great food, friendly staff, very reasonable prices. The fried chicken was awesome and the salad excellent. We will make this a regular stop.

Based on the reviews, my wife, daughter and I crossed the bridge from Baton Rouge to try out Louisiana Bayou Bistro. The restaurant was clean and service polite. Family friendly. The menu has a great selection of Louisiana entrees. The food however was just average, nothing special. I will give it one more try in the future, but it's not... More
