Very cute

After visiting Vermillionville, we went here for an early dinner. Our table was at the window overlooking a pond with koi fish. Order the sweet potato beignet!

Fabulous lunch/dinner. Everyone in our group of 6 ordered something different and all were very pleased. Our waitress was most helpful. A little tricky to find - trust their website.

Both food and décor needs a re-do at this Lafayette institution. We used a $25 restaurant.com certificate at lunch (which seems to have been discontinued), and got decent value. But at full price ($25 entrees) you can do much better in Lafayette. Seafood didn't have any wow factor; good, but not great (crawfish better than crab) -- in a town... More

It's been there a while and I don't know how it survived that long. Been a couple of times years back and was underimpressed. Thought I would give it another try. Overpriced average meals. Probably be a long while before I go back. The wait staff was polite.

While this is an old standby restaurant in the area, I have found it is really going down. Wait staff was still friendly but the food quality has diminished. All of the fried food taste the same. In an area where food is such a priority, you should do better as a restaurant. Too many other good restaurants nearby.

Went on a Friday night when we were in town visiting a friend. The place was PACKED and it was good we called ahead and put our names on the list for a table. It was very loud. We split an appetizer of crab and cheese melted on crusty bread that was very yummy. I got a cup of seafood... More

it's really not far out, just not where you'd expect it to be. this somewhat hidden gem is truly that A GEM, there is nothing bad here, seafood, steaks whatever you want. My family has been coming here for years & years. We were there one evening & the waitress told us they were working on a new dessert &... More

Met my family for lunch and they were disappointed. I recommended the crab cakes because it had always been delicious. We were both disappointed. My nephew loved the gumbo. The plates are very small and our server (great customer service) was honest about the portions being small. The menu says they offer free soup until it runs out but although... More

Based on a recommendation from a local business owner and after having read Trip Advisor reviews, my wife and I were excited to visit Poor Boy’s. I was particularly looking forward to the crab dishes described on the restaurant’s website. We visited at around 6:30pm on a non-holiday Monday evening. The restaurant has a welcoming vibe and the ambiance is... More

Great atmosphere, loved the table set up, the location. Mary , our server did her best to serve us and accommodate our requests. We went on New Years Eve, we were told they were out of Crab Meat, I was a bit disappointed so I choose a shrimp dinner plate for approx. $28.00. I served it with a small ball... More
