My husband & I eat here often but I never did a review before. I had shrimp 1/2 fried & 1/2 étouffée with sweet potato fries. This is always flawless but this time the fries were substandard, however the shrimp was delicious. My husband had the special which was a broiled catfish filet covered by a large soft shell crab... We stopped at Pat's in Breaux Bridge on the way back from Houston. Today, we tried the special, and it was amazing. It was called Catfish Jude Patrick. It was baked catfish, topped with a large fried softshell crab, then topped with crawfish etouffee. Sides were grilled asparagus and new potatoes, I believe. I didn't get to my potatoes and... More

I use to LOVE pats... But it's gone downhill so bad. Went to eat w/ hubby @ 7pm; service took forever to get our drinks, they were out of half the things on the menu, the servers were hollering back and forth in the kitchen (we could hear them seated across the restaurant by the windows) the servers ignored many... Our seafood platters were very good, but somehow we would've liked an extra shrimp or oyster or two to really feel like we were getting a 20. platter. Still ...perfectly cooked and delicious. All the other plates at our tables were raved about. Service was good. Be aware that there may be a cover charge later in the day, since... More

While visiting Breaux Bridge for the Crawfish Festival, we went to Pat's for some local Cajun cooking. I really wanted to try some alligator and the appetizer size plate was big enough for all 6 adults at our table to have several pieces each. At our table we tried quite a nice variety of foods such as seafood platter, gumbo,... More

It's very over priced and very small portions. The food was just average. The service was ok, nothing outstanding. We had a nice view of the Bayou. It's hard to get to not close to the interstate and if you are going east, you have to backtrack. We did not have a long wait, there was very few people in... More

I had been to Pat's before and it was good again. We went for boiled crawfish with potatoes and corn. We were disappointed that the crayfish were kind of small which surprised us since we had gotten much bigger in New Orleans. The seasoning in the vegetables was also lacking a bit. After all, this is supposed to be crawfish... More

Ate at this restaurant 25 years ago and couldn't wait to take my wife there. Waited to be seated, nobody around. Got seated next to one of the chef's that was on his cell phone and cusing up a storm. He even was looking at us during his conversation. Finally we got a drink then waited to get our food... More

Had the crawfish etoufee Camp Style. Unreal! Ate at the bar & met the Huval family who made me feel at home. They were prepping for a big local private party/dance/fundraiser but took time to chat. Got a room next door, came back for dinner & was invited in to the dance. Killer band and super nice local coonass folks... More
