More of a meat market than a full-fledged restaurant, but authentic and filled with locals. The hours are a little dicey and the menu in the restaurant is limited to only a couple of items, but they always have boudin for a snack. The fresh meat for sale looked awesome.

We've been ordering boudin from Poche's for years. This was our second visit. We concentrated on the boudin because we were on a boudin tour. We love Poche's links. They are delicious. The market is a bit off the beaten track but worth hunting down. There is a great little dining room to eat in if you want to stay.... More

If you find yourself near here and they are open it is certainly worth the 2 mile trip north from the interstate. I have yet to have anything that I didn't enjoy but the baked chicken and backbone stew are awesome. Sides are well seasoned and portions are generous. Tons of fresh and frozen store made products. Get extra chicken... More

We've stopped at Poche's Market twice to pick up Cajun delicacies that aren't readily available in the Dallas area. Their andouille sausage and tasso ham are the real deal and we use them in gumbo, shrimp & grits, etc. We also stocked up on Camellia dry kidney beans for red beans & rice. We keep forgetting that they also have... More

I’ve been to Poche’s so many times that Floyd greets me by name. This is a fabulous place to get food that is as good as anywhere within 100 miles of Lafayette, but you get it here at a great price. Don’t expect white table clothes as this is a sit down and meet your neighbor type of place. What... More

We stayed down the road from this cajun restaurant. Food was super and cheap. Catfish, boudin sausage, baked beans, coleslaw, everything outstanding.

We stopped in at about 2:45 on a Saturday and they only had fried catfish and crawfish etoufee left. It was cafeteria style/steam table, so not made to order. The etoufee with french fries was below average and cost $13.00. The food just didn't look that good. Boudin balls were good however. We would not go back. You can get... More

We didn't get to eat lunch but they have all kinds of goodies to take home. We cooked up some of the crawfish boudin while we were there-Yum. This is the place to get anything you need in the way of meat.
