We had dinner last night and it was great. The crawfish etouffee was delicious and the fried catfish was the best we have ever tasted. The place is a little out of the way but is well worth finding.

I would have never stopped here had it not been recommended by a local. Wow! What a find! This place has some great food. It's fast, efficient, and affordable. The portions were generous. We left satisfied.

My family and I have came here ever since I was little for the boudin and now I take my little one there. We live in Texas but when I get enough days off we make the 2 hour trip just for this place! The boudin is out of this world and the best in town in my opinion and... More

On trip back from NO we stopped and had 2 plate lunches. Mine was étouffée and wife's was fried wings. Both plates were excellent, when leaving do not forget to get one of the huge pecan pralines.

Poche's is a little out of the way, but it is well worth it! They have a cafeteria style set up where the workers behind the counter dish up your food. The servings are huge and reasonably priced, not to mention, delicious. Everyone sits at long tables in a big room. There is also a market with favorite items to... More

I suppose because they are now appealing to the masses, after having Poche's boudin shipped for years and years, I will now use a different vendor. They are adding MSG to the ingredients for boudin. No thanks!

Can't go to Breaux Bridge (or Lafayette) without a stop at Poche's for cracklin and sausage to take home to friends and family!

This restaurant is a local favorite that has frequent bus loads of tourists. If you want to see a typical local Cajun restaurant, this would be a good example. It's sort of buffet style at which you tell them what you want or your plate. Chicken, beef, catfish with a couple of sides. You sit at long tables in a... More

Not much ready to eat food. Alot of frozen or pre packaged heat up food. Could not buy any wine or liquor either beer only. Had to go into Breaux Bridge to get that.

After reading reviews I expected a good lunch. What we received was catfish that was mostly the breading, cold fries and slaw that was bland. The fried shrimp was ok and the potato salad was terrible. It is a cute store and you can buy meats and spices which is what I recommend as the food was just ok. Plate... More
