This is what dreams are made of! Food was fresh, not fast which makes it all the better. Don't be tricked by a hot box of food at a gas station deli thinking it's what Louisiana is about. As a fellow Louisiana restaurant owner it takes a lot to impress me, but I am 100% hooked and WILL RETURN every... More

What can I say? Sometimes I want healthy food and sometimes I want something that will cause me to lick my fingers again and again. This place is NOT fancy. It is a hole in the wall joint that you will miss if you blink. In addition, it is NOT fast food. Although there are homemade signs posted throughout the... More

Every time in drive through Louisiana I always stop and get some cracklins and pork boudin balls. I have even had cracklin shipped to my house. The customer service and the good is excellent.

Great food. Family friendly. Princess from $-$$. Staff friendly. Place clean. The alligator was good along with the gumbo. Definitely worth the stop.

All these positive reviews, I simply don't understand. We are there this past Saturday and it was horrible. They OVER FRY everything, it was horrible. Boudin balls were extremely dry. There must be nowhere else to eat in Henderson, as it was extremely busy and people must have settled for this type of food. This is NOT Cajun Food people.... More

This place NEVER disappoints us! We always make it a point to plan our trips to LA by stopping here to eat. This place is by no means a fine dining place, but the food and hospitality is beyond exceptional!! I'd take this any day over some expensive restaurant. On this trip... On the way there I had crawfish- seasoned... More

We've been stopping here on way to/from New Orleans for years, and this place is the best!!!!! You get great service, and awesome Cajun food! This place is by far, the best Cajun food I've ever eaten! You can even buy alligator meat, boudin frozen and bring it home with you in one of their complimentary styrofoam coolers! Never drive... Driving back from Christmas I decided to stop in my favorite foodie town, Breaux Bridge. Glenda's was closed and I had eaten at Poche's a few days earlier so I decided to try the Boudin Shop. I ordered a bowl of seafood gumbo for $8.99 and a 6 inch shrimp po boy for $5.99. Perhaps a little too much but... More

Great food! My family and I were pleased with our orders. The fried chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked. The beans and rice authentic and the boudin delicious. The crawfish balls are Cajun hush puppies. If you like hush puppies, you'll like them. If not, well, you won't. The crawfish étouffée was excellent- and chock full of crawfish. Your tummy... More

This place is a veritable dump? And I love it! Any time we are on I-10 between Baton Rouge and New Orleans I just have to stop for a crawfish po-boy sandwich, which my husband and I always split. Thee have a variety of po-boys as well as gumbo, etoufée and boudin. Don't let the appearance and the atmosphere mislead... More
