Ain't nut-tin betta dan BOUDIN here!

Stop. Eat. Enjoy. Even if you've never tried boudin or didn't like it before, trust me when I say these cousins make the BEST boudin in Louisiana! I wanted boiled crawfish and they didn't have them. Only fried ones. They offered to boil me shrimp which I prefer to have fried. Wife ordered fried chicken with a biscuit. Chicken was moist and well prepared but wife would have preferred to go 1 block farther and get Popeyes spicy instead. I got a shrimp basket and it was... More

On our way to Lafayette from New Orleans, we decided to take the exit for a place called Boudin and Cracklins based on a billboard we saw on Highway 10 westbound. After exiting, we saw a gas station with a restaurant named The Boudin Shop. As we needed gas for our rental car, we thought about our good fortune as... More

I was there and ordered cooked Boudin Balls, got my order. As I'm headed back to Houston, I'm eating the Boudin Balls and a long string of hair is in the Boudin. Disgusting. I call back and speak to the Manager to tell him the story and the only thing he could say was, "This happens" I will never stop... More

A must try for Cajun food lovers when passing through the area. This hole-in-the-wall restaurant is not to be missed. It sits beside Interstate 10 behind Landry's restaurant. We stayed at the very nice Holiday Inn Express across the parking lot from the Boudin Shop. Most hotel guests opt for Landry's seafood restaurant and miss this gem of a place.... More

This is what dreams are made of! Food was fresh, not fast which makes it all the better. Don't be tricked by a hot box of food at a gas station deli thinking it's what Louisiana is about. As a fellow Louisiana restaurant owner it takes a lot to impress me, but I am 100% hooked and WILL RETURN every... More

What can I say? Sometimes I want healthy food and sometimes I want something that will cause me to lick my fingers again and again. This place is NOT fancy. It is a hole in the wall joint that you will miss if you blink. In addition, it is NOT fast food. Although there are homemade signs posted throughout the... More

Every time in drive through Louisiana I always stop and get some cracklins and pork boudin balls. I have even had cracklin shipped to my house. The customer service and the good is excellent.

Great food. Family friendly. Princess from $-$$. Staff friendly. Place clean. The alligator was good along with the gumbo. Definitely worth the stop.

All these positive reviews, I simply don't understand. We are there this past Saturday and it was horrible. They OVER FRY everything, it was horrible. Boudin balls were extremely dry. There must be nowhere else to eat in Henderson, as it was extremely busy and people must have settled for this type of food. This is NOT Cajun Food people.... More
