Worth a try

Family day out & decided to give this place a try, ok for the Cajun Fried Shrimp, but the wait staff saves the day as they are on the game and brought the score up, kids selection good and as it's just off I-10 we'll worth a stop.

Everything we got was cold. The hostess/owner said "but we have heat lamps". The rice was stuck together. The order took an hour and wasn't right. The wheelchair ramp was blocked and inaccessible. I could go on and on. Zero rating. There is a taco bell down the street. At least their heat lamps work. The owner was unapologetic and... More

Not a great experince at all. The service was suuuper slow. Had to wait a long time just for waters, not to say food. We were driving from Houston to NOLA, and thought it would be a nice stop to start with the whole Lousiana Cajun culinary world, not close. We ordered a couple Po Boys shrimp and crawfish, looked... As soon as we walked in the restaurant the hostess (blonde or white haired) was not friendly at all! They were a bit crowded but I saw a few tables open. She asked if we wanted to eat outside and we said no and she almost looked disgusted with our answer. We ended up eating outside anway. Outside was dusty.... More

I have eaten here several times. They are prompt to seat you and take your drink order then your food order but the wait for the food has been long. The last time we waited for our food order for 1-1/2 hours. The food is good but unless you have a lot of time not worth it. The server brought... More

Recommended to stop here by some locals. Somewhat small but they made a point to accommodate our group of 12. Very polite and helpful staff. Plenty of authentic Cajun and local food, and everything we had was amazing.

Atmosphere and art work is great but food and service is mediocre. Food took a long time to arrive to our table. They even left off one item from my crawfish festival platter. Our table felt sticky and the ketchup bottle was so nasty on the outside I had to go wash my hands. I am from south Louisiana and... More

Traveling through Louisiana and heard Breaux Bridge was the place for good Cajun food. We were not disappointed. We had everything from the shimp po'boys, jambalaya, seafood platter, to the gumbo and then some. Everything was seasoned perfectly, the bread for the po'boys was that perfect mix of soft and crispy and the food tasted fresh. Plus the atmosphere made... More

This is a very interesting place....you would probably need 2-3 hours just to study all the items on the walls, ceiling, shelves, etc. The food and the service was good and were it not for some food inventory, housekeeping and general appearance items, I could have rated it higher. My wife had the alligator, fried (she ordered it grilled) and... More

Food and ambiente are very satisfying. Kind service, The place has it's nice local folkloristic character. I would always come back.
