Best Food in Boutte.

Some of the best food around. Try the fired mushrooms they are excellent. The only thing I was thrilled with was the gumbo. It seemed to me they were using a chicken broth for the base and not a roux.

I didn't take a photo and I regret it now. They had snow crabs, king crabs, & Dungeness crabs on the buffet and if you can get over the $35 buffet price you will enjoy an awesome seafood meal. It was hard for me to swallow the price of the buffet however, once I did I was able to swallow... More

We both got the buffet (over priced) and iced tea. Boiled crawfish, shrimp, king crab, snow crab and dungeoness crab, along with a few fried items. We started with the dungeoness crab. I thought the texture was too mushy, but ate one whole crab, since I didn't want to waste it. My stomach was hurting so I waited a while... More

All you can eat seafood buffet or order off the menu. Offerings are: shrimp, king crab legs, snow crab legs, and dungness crab legs, crawfish, catfish, soft shell crab, oysters on the 1/2 shell and frog legs. Food was delicious! Bread pudding for dessert comes with the buffet and was so good! Service was great.

Steak special was cooked right. Good meat. Lots of customers and a couple waitresses. Fresh oysters kind of small. Very polite but overworked staff. Narrow parking lot had a utility pole right in the middle.

I will have to say that the food was very well seasoned, the waiter was very nice and the manager came and checked on us to make sure everything was good. The buffet does run you about $39 dollars, yes that is pricey but I look at it like this it is something I do not do on a normal... More

Had lunch there with a friend. I had crawfish bisque and crab cakes both as appetizers. The bisque was to watery. Bisque is usually thick. Crab cakes - a little salty (not necessary). My friend had gumbo which she said was a little salty. She also had a creamy seafood pasta which she told the waiter it was too salty... More

Down home Cajun cuisine just a short trip up the bayou from New Orleans. Traditional creole dining including gumbo, red beans and rice, and fried shrimp. Good lunch buffet at a reasonable price. If you are passing through...just give it a try!

I had the redfish over jambalaya. It was really fantastic. Everything tasted very fresh. The atmosphere is relaxed and service was good. Prices are fair. I'll return the next time I'm in town.
