We are visiting from TN and was told by a local guy that Zydeco's had good seafood. I'm actually allergic to shellfish, but my boyfriend loves it. They have a buffet with plenty of options but we decided to just order off the menu. I had a fried catfish platter with a loaded baked potato and my boyfriend had a... More

While touring through South Louisiana my wife and I had lunch at Zydeco's. I was expecting something special as must all the other Cajun & Creole restaurants we ate at during this trip were excellent. This one was not so special. We passed on the buffet as I thought the price was way out of line for what they were... More

Stopped in today for a Cajun lunch. There was a good crowd and friendly staff. I looked over buffet and thought it looked pretty good and it would be quick and get me back on the road. When I got my bill the buffet was $34 plus tea and tip. That ridiculous price should be posted, but I blame myself... More

Being from out of state this place came highly recommended by some of the locals. First night food was great. Reasonably priced crawfish, potatoes and corn, all seasoned well. Gumbo has a rich broth plenty of chicken and sausage but a little lacking on the rice. Hubby had a pressed sandwich that was very tasty... Service was awful. From the... More

Looking for good South Louisiana food? These people do it right. Their seafood is excellent and plentiful, their appetizers are delicious, and their buffet, while pricey, is outstanding with boiled & fried seafoods with multiple side dishes. Enjoy! Note: if you prefer milder spice, just ask them to tone things down a little when you order; they can get a... More

Wife and I ate here in late December. Had good reviews on Tripadvisor so we gave it a shot. We were looking for any restaurant that served oysters because that's what we wanted. Saw online they had raw and chargrilled. Perfect. They do have a buffet and it didn't look too bad. But we ordered from the menu. Dozen raw... More

Second stop here in November, 2013. The onion straws are better than good. Skip the buffet, it is for quick stop lunches for working folks. Order from the menu and enjoy the best onion straws you've had in a long time. Seasoned-just good!!!!!
