Located on the Boarwalk. Parking is ridiculous. Hungry, we walked in craving a steak. After finally being seated, our waiter stopped by after about 15 minutes. Placed napkins on the table and said she would've right back. After waiting another 10 minutes, we decided to eat elsewhere.

Texas Street is one of our favorite restaurants in the Shreveport/Bossier area. The atmosphere is great and the waitstaff is amazingly friendly. The oysters bienville are to die for!! My steak was cooked to perfection-juicy, tender and mouth watering. My potatoes au gratin were the perfect side dish! Creamy, Cheesy and the perfect flavor! We love it and will continue... More

The steaks were very good and cooked just as we had ordered. Our waitress, Julia, was very good also. However, the au gratin potatoes that we heard so much about were disappointing because they were spicy! Au gratin potatoes are not supposed to be spicy!!! And the ranch dressing was spicy too! Is this a Cajun thing? The restaurant is... More

We almost thought we were at the wrong place due to the average façade in a strip mall, but once inside the atmosphere was that of a nice restaurant. The featured entrees are "aged" steaks, which I had never had before, but apparently makes them especially flavorful.... and expensive. All of the food was very delicious, although perhaps over-salted/seasoned, especially... More

We had been wanting to try this restaurant but just never seemed to find the time. We are so glad that we made the time to dine here. What a warm welcome we received. We were shown to our table and then again welcome by our server who briefly went over the evenings specials and took our drink orders. The... More

The food is not good and is overpriced for the quality and taste. I would have not recognized my chosen dish if I had not ordered from the Menu. My friend felt the same. Will not return.

WARNING! Plan to drop $100 on a couple for dinner, drink and appetizer. The filet was excellent. Nice dimly lot atmosphere. This is a place to impress a date.

I ate there last night with my husband. I will say my first impression was of 2 employees outside smoking on patio listening to loud music was not what I expected from a place of this type. We walked in and hostess tried to sit us at a 6 person table I declined next stop a 4 top table. I... More

I chose this restaurant on the basis of the previous reviews. We had two meals: a filet and crab meat au gratin. And one dessert: bread pudding. I can honestly say that the only thing that was even halfway good was the filet. With the filet, the other person In my party got au gratin potatoes and gumbo. With my... More
