OK, I have been back to Bossier City (Oct. 2-6) and ate at Cobb's TWICE. Still the same good food. Miss Sue was there when my class met for lunch. She's as sweet and friendly as ever. Sean was behind the counter serving up the best BBQ in town. I had the ribs, a departure from my usual chopped beef... More

Nestled in the middle of Bossier City LA is a GEM that should be discovered by all. Over 50 years ago a young man by the name of Joe Cobb made a deal with a family member to open a small Bar B Que shop, and he had a dream. Since the 1950's, Cobb's Bossier City Bar-B-Q has been opened... More

Wishing a sandwich for lunch we did not want cold cuts deli style. I knew Cobb's had been there for years. The chopped beef and turkey sandwiches were just what was wanted and they were smoked just right. They were generous and the sauce was good. If you go check out the many pictures on the wall. It is a... More

I agree with some other reviews that the sauce leaves something to be desired. It's too thin for my liking but the place had a steady steam of people in and out so maybe it's just not my taste.

I grew up eating lunch at this little "mom & pop" restaurant and have not found any better BBQ! The BBQ, beans, potato salad are great, simple and satisfying. The staff are the same friendly people from 20 years ago and will chat you up if your interested in a conversation. Try the sliced turkey BBQ sandwich if you get... More

I live in Oregon, but was originally born and educated in the South. Louisiana and Texas are full of good BBQ. Recently I had some of THE BEST smoked sliced beef, I have ever had in my life, at Cobb's BBQ in Bossier City, LA. This place is worth the effort to get to. The pork was delicious also. They... The casinos and hotels are bringing new customers to this landmark joint on the old Bossier "strip." Their chicken is the most tender, smoky barbeque I've ever had. The salads are homemade daily. The cole slaw is fresh and creamy and not too sweet and the potato salad has a lot of bell pepper and sweet pickle. Their barbeque sauce... More

Very simple place. Barbecue is okay. Very old furnishings with no waitress, just pickup at the counter. I honestly prefer other barbecue in town better.
