I grew up eating lunch at this little "mom & pop" restaurant and have not found any better BBQ! The BBQ, beans, potato salad are great, simple and satisfying. The staff are the same friendly people from 20 years ago and will chat you up if your interested in a conversation. Try the sliced turkey BBQ sandwich if you get... More

I live in Oregon, but was originally born and educated in the South. Louisiana and Texas are full of good BBQ. Recently I had some of THE BEST smoked sliced beef, I have ever had in my life, at Cobb's BBQ in Bossier City, LA. This place is worth the effort to get to. The pork was delicious also. They... More

Some of the best BBQ in rhe neighborhood! Several dishes to choose from. Each fills the hunger. The flavor is the best in town. Cash only no credit cards. Check it out if you here.

The casinos and hotels are bringing new customers to this landmark joint on the old Bossier "strip." Their chicken is the most tender, smoky barbeque I've ever had. The salads are homemade daily. The cole slaw is fresh and creamy and not too sweet and the potato salad has a lot of bell pepper and sweet pickle. Their barbeque sauce... More

Very simple place. Barbecue is okay. Very old furnishings with no waitress, just pickup at the counter. I honestly prefer other barbecue in town better.

Used to eat there as a teenager in the early 60's...moved away in '69...went back in 2004, Coach McConathy was there eating lunch, then 2006...it's the same great BBQ as it was back in the day. Can't wait to go back again in 2014...50th BHS reunion for the class of '64.

I have been trying to figure out Joe's BBQ sauce for a long time because you cannot find a tangy sauce that I love. Most BBQ restaurant's sauce is sweet but not Joe's. His smoked chickens, hot links, sliced beef and my favorte, ham sandwichs are wonderful. I moved away from Bossier CIty in 1987 but whenever I get back... More

You can always count on a great meal at Joe Cobb's. Miss seeing Mr. Joe, but Miss Sue is still there everyday making sure everything is run right!! The ham po-boy is over the top. Great beans and potato salad. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
