Best Bar-B-Q in Louisiana and Texas

If you want some good Bar-B-Q with a variety of meals and with a family, down home atmosphere visit Bodacious. The kids will love the fun antiques inside. Great mint tea. Their Bread Pudding is to die for.

Went here on lunch break from a training at the AFB. I must say that we shouldve went somewhere else. The food wasnt nasty, it just wasnt all that. I mean the food was edible but the brisket "samitch" required bbq sauce. I good bbq it good alone and you add sauce for personal taste. This on the other hand... More

The ribs were good though this isn't a fancy place: plastic utensils and paper towels on the table. But, go there for the food. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Omigah i know being from Texas I'm suppose to say our bbq is the best but this bbq was phenomenal! The ribs were literally falling off the bone and the sausage was great. The green beans were cooked with sausage and onions and had a nice little spice which i can only assume came from the sausage. And omigah the... More

I love this dish! If you haven't tried it, I suggest doing so asap. It's huge and delicious. I've had multiple and I've never finished one of them; the warm bbq sauce on top of this makes it one of my favorites.

Besides the usual BBQ plates, they have the Botato (baked potato filled with butter, sour cream, and BBQ topped with cheddar cheese) and BBQ nachos. Lots of sandwich variety in a simple store front. Decor is simple old style countryside diner with antique items. The chicken my husband got on a combo plate was shriveled, a tad overlooked, but we... More

Excellent tastes, options, and friendly service. You can tell this is a local favorite. I am not local, but for sure this is my go to spot for BBQ and all else they have to offer.

We were on a roadtrip from Arizona and stopped in based on TA reviews. We had pulled pork sandwiches and they were great. But the peach cobbler with ice cream was fantastic!

Bodacious has always had the best bbq in this area! Lately their prices have gotten outrageous! The staff are always helpful and friendly. Seriously good ribs!
