Staying in Shreveport for business, but brought the family along. My kids can be pretty picky eaters so we were a little nervous about the menu. We get there check out the kids menu, nothing to worry about. Enough choices for the kids, good Louisiana food for the adults, great atmosphere equalled a very nice meal. My daughter even tried... This is a very popular restaurant as the parking lot was full but the restaurant is large and there was no waiting. I had the blackened Mahi Mahi and it was excellent. It is kind of difficult to get to but its worth it. I would definitely go back.

I asked hotel for a good seafood spot and gumbo. This was her immediate response. They also provided me a coupon for free dessert, so, I'm not sure the hotel doesn't get anything in return. Either way, I had grilled mahi of which was fresh. The gumbo could have more spice for my liking, but, it had some extra seafood... More

The food was very good and the menu wasn't ordinary like a lot of places. I love to try unique dishes and I found some of that here. The atmosphere was very nice as well. It's a nice place to go if you like to dress up a little for dinner although you don't have to.

Ralph & Kacoo's is O.K - often seems to be out of popular tourist item - gator bits etc. We feel it is expensive for the quality but there isn't a huge selection in B.C. - I would rate it as middle range - seems to be like a factory restaurant. Food tasted like it came off a steam table... More

Ralph & Kacoo's is a delightful restaurant with a full service bar, a storefront selling Cajun items and food stuff, in addition to a well laid out restaurant. The ambiance is very pleasant. There are poters describing all types of fish and many kinds of game fish hanging on the walls. There is also zydeco music piped overhead, making it... More

While the service is excellent, I like a good crawfish bisque. Theirs is a brown gumbo like roux instead of a reddish cream like crawfish bisque is supposed to be. Otherwise, fried is fried and their blackened items are good.

Spent the night at Barksdale AFB on our way from Oklahoma to NAS Pensacola and wanted to find a local seafood restaurant. This proved to be a good choice. Although not a local dive, like we usually try to find, Ralph's, did have some mighty tasty entrées and beer. We will return next year.

I am a Texas native therefore Cajun food is not my area of expertise however, I always like trying other flavors of food. This was my second time at Ralph & Kacoo's Seafood Restaurant. My decision to dine there was prompted by a business visit with other colleagues. The atmosphere was gregarious and people were indeed having fun around us.... More

Let me preface this by saying this restaurant was a favorite of mine and my husband. That being said, we have not eaten there in probably a couple of years. I was very disappointed and will probably not be back. There was 5 in our party and everyone ordered a little bit of everything. The seafood gumbo was good, my... More
