There was a LOT of seafood on the platter and it was cooked very nicely. Other party had a steak and it was good as well.

we've eaten at this restaurant in New Orleans on several occasions and were never disappointed. I wish I could say the same about this restaurant. This was one of the worst meals we've had eating out in a long time. The food was served cold and pretty much tasteless. We won't be coming back!

We went to Ralph and Kacoos while passing through Bossier City. The food here was marginal when compared to good seafood restaurants in Houston or New Orleans. My wife ordered a the special of the day, a Trout Meuniere. It came with a thick brown gravy all over the fish rather than the expected browned butter sauce. It was inedible.... More

Melt in your mouth rolls, crunchy , flavorful hush puppies , Jumbo Gulf Shrimp served over Cajun rice, Atchafalaya (Sea Bass with a crawfish etouffee) Fantastic service, happy hour drink prices, and a bread pudding with rum sauce that made me want more !

We always dine at Ralph & Kakoos when we are in Shreveport. We have never been disappointed. We started with the stuffed mushrooms. Large mushrooms filled with crabmeat stuffing and broiled. My husband had the crawfish lunch special. Fried crawfish and crawfish étouffée. I had the stuffed shrimp served with glazed carrots and oven roasted potatoes. Those carrots tasted just... More

Most of the food choices are friend or heavily sauce, but then it is Southern food. The cup of crayfish gumbo I tried had only a couple of tiny pieces in it. The fried okra was greasy and not done with traditional corn meal, not crispy. Entree not great tasting either. Pricey for what it was. Decor was dated, dim... More

I am not a fan of the style of food that this restaurant serves. I am a HUGE fan of Cajun dining, but the food here is very heavily sauced and that is all I can taste. Even the salads are like bowls of dressing with bits of lettuce floating around.

Lunch is awesome; great po'boys and gumbo. Excellent service and a great value. This is a top notch restaurant. Don't be fooled by the strip center location.... The interior is quite elegant. Can't wait to visit and try dinner.

I was very impressed with this place. The blackened alligator was great, the rolls were amazing. I had the ribeye and Mahi Mahi, with the stuffed baked potatoes. The stuffed potato was the best i have ever had. The service was great too. Atmosphere is amazing for all occasions!!!
