I had the carne asada. Meat was a little dry but for the price, speed and quantity, this place is worth it. Their free salsa bar has a good variety and is a good addition to an already good value.

I went to Pollo Regio (Chicken King), not knowing what to expect. Got the whole chicken special. It was incredible! Pleasantly surprised. Highly recommended.

I have eaten here a couple of times and found it to be consistently good. This is a place to come if you want some actual Mexican food instead of Tex-Mex. The mole is really good, if you like mole. If you want something a little friendlier to the American palate, try the half or whole chicken. It is cooked... More

Not a bad lil place to get your grub on. I got the Half-chicken. Comes w/beans,rice and tortillas. Drink was extra. Chicken was indeed flavorful. Beans were tasty as well. I'd go back, maybe try something else.

I was recently in Bossier City for a few days and found good reviews on this place both here and UrbanSpoon, so I decided to try it for lunch. When I got there a bit after noon, the parking area was filled with cars and work trucks. I took this as a good sign since there were a lot of... More

After reading all the great reviews, we decided to give it a try. We had the chicken, beans and rice. The flavor of the chicken was really good but it was very dry. Won't have the chicken again but might go back for something else. The sauces were good!

This is the best joint in town. I eat here often and love the flavors. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

I came to visit my Mother in Bossier City, and did a search here for the best places to eat in BC. This one was rated the best, so I did the drive-through. Unbelievably good. I loved the chicken medio, which was plenty of food. The marinated chicken was excellent, beans were good, rice good and the sauces were all... More

This is one of my staple take out restaurants. The Medio Pollo (half chicken, bean soup, rice, corn tortillas) is about $9. Roast chicken with an excellent flavor, but avoid the green sauce, unless you REALLY like hot sauce. This food is more typical of street food than traditional texmex.

After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, we decided to try Pollo Regio while visiting Bossier City. The staff was very friendly, the menu offered several choices, and prices were very reasonable. Maybe this just wasn't the type of Mexican food we are accustomed to, as it was very bland and the taco shells tasted quite stale. They do have... More
