Best bananas foster cheesecake in the world! The atmosphere is wonderful and the service is excellent!
When staying in Shreveport once before, we were recommended Copeland's in the Boardwalk. We loved it, so we tried it again on this trip. Not so good the second time around. The food was okay, but not as warm as anticipated. The service was very slow and we had to ask several times for drink refills and remind the waitress... More
Good variety of food, tasty and at a fair price. Would eat here again. Weakness was they were out of ~4 things on the menu, including french onion soup, which disappointed a coworker. Otherwise, all was very good.
Outdoor seating and patio bar while you wait for your table inside. Large wine and drink selection. Tons of menu items. Thai chicken wrap with fries was delicious. The tortilla's are homemade and not the cheap store bought ones. The spinach dip appetizer is really good with the fried artichokes and homemade tortilla chips. You have to try the white... More
Service was outstanding and they were busy. Great get away from the casinos. Within walking distance and if you go by guest services at the boardwalk shopping center you can get 10% off coupon. Food was really good-i recommend every thing but my favorite is their cheeseburger wrap. Fresh not frozen ground chuck!
I've given this place several chances, and each time it has fallen short. Bad service, poorly managed, small portions, bland food. My last (and final) visit, we had to wait 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated (even though the restaurant turned out to be mostly empty), one member of our party was served the wrong dish, another... My husband and I ate someplace else and on the way back to the hotel we decided to get dessert. When we went in there were a lot of people waiting so we squeezed by and went to the counter where they had all the cheesecakes. There happen to be a couple in front of us ordering and upon them... More
Over the years when I visit the boardwalk, I am always tempted to try , again, Cheesecake Bistro however the last THREE visits have all been poor at best. As a single male that eats out at least 5 times a week and at least 2 times on the weekends I have tried a lot of places and this one... More
It was super cold inside - air conditioning appeared to be on but it was raining and 60 degrees that night. Everyone had coats and sweaters on. Mgt was unable/unwilling to adjust temperature so we just sat there and froze. I ordered crabcakes which came drowned in the saltiest remoulade you can imagine. It was inedible and i sent it... More
The restaurant was out of a few items they did not have any steak the time I visited. I ended up settling for fried chicken it was good but was in the mood for steak or shrimp they neither. I got a snickers cheesecake it was tasty.
