Love Their Catfish!

The family owned restaurant has good service, food, and atmosphere. They have the best catfish this side of Middendorf's.

Husband had a hankering for hush-puppies so we stopped in for a bite. Hush puppies were pipping hot, slightly sweet with just the right amount of green onion. Several bottled varieties of hot sauce provided the right spicy bite. Breaded Catfish was hot and not greasy but a little bland, fresh coleslaw was wonderful. Service was friendly and efficient. This... More

I've not been to Adams for several years and my wife and I have been talking about making the short trip to Belle Chasse for a couple of months. The perfect opportunity arose recently when some friends from Chicago were in town and staying just a short ferry ride from Belle Chasse. We all got the catfish and some opted... More

Friendly atmosphere. This is a come-as-you-are restaurant. The dress code is definitely casual. Lots of available parking.

The place is ok. Nothing special. The catfish is good. The inside is plane. The people are ok. Better than Salvo's

Always a good fried catfish. You need to try the catfish salad...that is a real treat. Their burgers are as good as any around.

This is a fun place. Very small and homey which I REALLY liked. Nothing too fancy, My only issue is the pricing. The lunch special prices were more like dinner prices. On a happy note the food was very tasteful and the service was just the way I liked it simple, but caring. The price will not stop us from... More

We stopped in for lunch right before they closed. We sat down at a wooden table with wooden seats. There was one other customer in the restaurant when we came in. I noticed a sign on the wall that said "Many have eaten here, Few have died". They don't serve alcohol so we had sodas. I ordered the small fried... More

Even though I have lived on the Westbank for about 1/2 of my (rather long) life, this was my first time to go to this Belle Chasse jewel. We had a group of about 18-20 that was running late after a tour of the flood system further down the highway and the wonderful manager agreed to stay open past the... More
