Get the Devil's on Horseback!

We had an appetizer called Devil's on Horseback...that alone is reason enough to go there! Giant shrimp stuffed with cream cheese and pickled jalepenos, wrapped in bacon, battered and deep fried....it was slap your mama good!

Went to Walk On's after a business meeting to just relax and have a few drinks. I expected the same sports bar food , but what I received was worth sharing . I believe I had the best Duck and Sausage gumbo I have ever had not to mention the best Red Beans and Rice I have had in a... More

A cool college sports bar with OK, but not great food and service. Servers are friendly, but don't always remember requests, Appetizers are usually good - especially the cheese fries. Bayou Pasta (shrimp and pasta dish) sounded good on the menu, but it's bland. Would return for beer and appetizers, but not a meal.

Friends recommended this place. They where right. Food was real good and pretty fast service. Three of us ate three different things. Everyone said they liked their food. First time eating there but i will be back. they are opening one in Houma. Hurry up Houma. We had the onion mound, they where great, sauce was good too. One person... More

Average food at a sports bar. About what you would expect. Did have good apps and decent large salad for an entree'. Had a big group and requested a table for 14 and was seated in an area that would hold no more than 10. Asked for more tables to be added and was ignored. We moved the tables ourselves... More

The noise level is a bit high but it is located next to LSU. The menu was broad and the food good. The price was reasonable.

Great place. Food was excellent, atmosphere great & location to Tiger Stadium is even better. Would recommend this place also for after concert drinks.

Don't be fooled by the name, this is not a "bistreaux," it's a sports bar. The service is always horrible and the food is always average, but if you go in with those expectations you won't be disappointed. There aren't very many places in Baton Rouge where you can go watch sports and eat, so fortunately for them they don't... More

I think average is the only way to describe this restaurant. Crowed and a bit noisy so not sure I will make a return visit when I visit the area again. The food was just okay!
