We went here after a long day on-site, and were looking for something fast and tasty. We weren't disapppointed - we would come again without hesitation. The service was okay, although we got our to-go orders fast and were able to get back to the hote. Had the "Carnival" - a mix of pork, beef, chicken, and hot link all... More

Mind you, i am not a barbecue snob, so my negative review is not comparing Voo Doo Barbecue against the best barbecue that you can find in cook-offs. Nor am i comparing against Voo-Doo's proclamation that they have the best barbecue in New Orleans. By any standard i can think of, this is a pretty marginal place. To start off... More

Unless you have a couple hours to sit down and eat, and you like waiting for a long time and cold bbq... Just don't come here. Go to the other Voodoo it's cleaner and the people are friendlier.

Baton Rouge is not exactly a mecca for bbq enthusiasts. We Louisianans trend more toward seafood. That said, if you are in a bbq mood while in Baton Rouge, Voo Doo is pretty darn good. Their ribs are ,meaty, tender and tasty, as is the brisket. The pulled pork is not bad but not one of my favorites. For sides,... More

i always went to Voodoo Express in the mall, food still tastes good. Macaroni and cheese always fresh and hot.

We had take-out Voo Doo BBQ while we were in Baton Rouge and it was terrific. We will definitely return on our next trip. The pulled pork was great and the Gumbo was rich and spicy.

Having lived in both Memphis, TN and Chicago, IL I know what good ribs are....and these were not even close. Fatty with no taste and an order of french fries had only six fries on the plate. I am writing this one off my list and suggest you do, too.

Yes it's a fast food place so no it's not going to be outstanding and over the top awesomeness. BUT we are bbq lovers and try bbq everywhere we go and this place was not bad at all especially for the price. Waiters were helpful, food was hot and plenty of it. I really liked the pulled pork the best.... More

Their sides are to die for but the BBQ is average. Don't miss the potato salad.

I knew walking in it was going to be fantastic by the wonderful aromas and the fact it was 8 hours away from home. I was right, the BBQ was out of this world and I was sad knowing it would be quite a while before I would be in Baton Rouge again. The service was very friendly, they were... More
