Friendly staff and great service. Food was excellent. I highly recommend the white beans with pork chops.

We stopped in as we were staying at the hotel. We were seated rather quickly and greeted by the waitress in a very short period of time. We ordered drink and then appetizers. One person at the table ordered an appetizer and then the waitress practically ran from the table and couldn't be found. We had to hunt her down... More

Hushpuppies were good, the rest was just average. Great server! Very limited menu items. Would have been nice to have oysters on the half shell but only available on weekends.

I had the fried shrimp macaroni and cheese...AWESOME!! Wait time to order was a little long. When a person sat behind me in the next booth I could feel his every move. Nice view.

We were staying in the Belle hotel and got caught in a huge storm, so we decided to give this place a try to avoid the rain. When we saw they did take-out, the temptation to eat in bed was too much..! I got the Chicken Bayou and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked garlic mashed potatoes (complete with skin), creamy... Stopped in here because it was within walking distance from the USS Kidd. Food is ok, my husband and I split a Po Boy with fries and a Caesar Salad. We had them hold the mayo on the sandwich, they should come up with a dressing instead. The salad was great until we got to the bottom where we found... More

On March 8, 2014, we had dinner at Shucks on the Levee in spite of reading some pretty negative reviews both here and on other sites. We were seated promptly even though the restaurant was full (they opened up a room in the back to accommodate the overflow) and the service by Teirainey was great. Once seated, our order was... I would prefer to eat at the snack bar in the casino than in here. The service is not very good and neither is the food.

We ate here Schucks on the Levee after the registration girl told us it was better than the Bar 102 in the motel. Glad we did. The service was fast food hot and on our table within 10 minutes of placing order. I had the Chicken Bayou and it was delicious, hubby had the Turkey Po Boy plenty for the... More

I have dined here in the past (2010), but since then they have "updated" the restaurant and changed the name. That being said, decor changed and the food quality and taste has declined. I know casinos first priority is NOT food, but come on, sub par food in Louisiana is a sin. My companion and I ordered the shrimp po-boy.... More
