If you're in Baton Rouge, you have to get Beignets! This is THE place to get them, apparently. My boyfriend and I arrived in the morning and thought the interior was very charming; however we sat outside to enjoy the nice weather. The beignets hit the spot, as they were loaded with powdered sugar. The hot chocolate also was tasty--it... More

The beignets are very great. Only visited the drive through, but have heard that the inside is great for a brunch or just to relax and study.

Had beignets there this weekend after St. Patrick's Day parade. Even though the beignets were cooked fresh, they seemed to be a bit on the tough side. Not as good as last time. Service was friendly. will go back, but hope they are better next time.

Worth a side trip for the beignets and a nice quiet place to have a coffee. Nothing I would call frills, so it seemed quite authentic. Biscuits looked good, but I didn't try them.

As close as it comes to Cafe du Monde. Delicious dense but fluffy beignets. As much powdered sugar as you want, so don't wear dark clothes because you won't leave the same color.

A Baton Rouge resident for over 20 years, I had never even heard of this place until I Googled "best Baton Rouge breakfast" and it came up as one of the results. And Google did not let me down. This is a quaint little place with a very local feel to it. The beignets were delicious and the prices were... More

We went around 11:30 on a Sunday & it wasn't crowed. Great price & tasted great. But I have to say you will have a dust bowl of powered sugar if you try to eat it in your car. Very good beignets! Fresh.

It is pretty basic but a great experience and fun for the family. Very affordable donuts and sugar! Coffee very average but good for the USA

I was always worried that the move across the parking lot would hurt the atmosphere of a baton Rouge icon. Well, although the place has a less lived in look, the shop is still the same. Great beignets and coffee and people to watch all times of day and night. Cafe du Monde certainly gets the limelight, but I prefer... More

Stopped by for beignets & Cafe au Lait on my trip from Orlando to Austin. Easy on & off interstate, excellent morning stop for authentic breakfast.
