Excellent and cheap beignets. This is a no frills kind of place serving mostly beignets. We also had a sausage biscuit to add a little protein. The beignets are good, fresh out of the fryer, and covered with the right amount of sugar. They are also very cheap. You order basically at a cafeteria line. There is nothing fancy here,... More

Want an authentic Louisiana beignet experience? Go here! It's not fancy and there is powdered sugar all over the place, but that is exactly how beignets are supposed to be eaten. You grab your tray, pour your own hot chocolate or cafe au lait, they throw a couple of beignets on your plate, dump a ton of powdered sugar on... More

If you can't make it to New Orleans, visit here in Baton Rouge. Great beignets and coffee. Kind of like donuts but covered I powered sugar. Warning.....do not wear dark clothing. The powered sugar flys with every bite. Three with each plate. I myself like the beignet fingers. Smaller and much more.

This was a last moment snack before calling it a night. We ordered the large beignet fingers. Huge portion covered in powered sugar. I also had a cafe au laiit. It's a serve yourself coffee so don't wait around thinking someone will serve you a coffee. Just take a mug out of the bin and fill up. Very nice wait... More

Why stand in line for a free hotel breakfast when for a small sum you can breakfast with the working folk, families and friends who gather and greet at Coffee Call? Very good coffee and piping HOT fresh made beignets go down easy, andouille or sausage patty biscuits for those who need a little protein. Very clean restaurant, and very... More

Coffee Call provides you the opportunity to try the beignet made famous at the Café Du Monde in New Orleans, but at a fraction of the price. We used to go to the original Coffee Call a long time ago and was sad to see it had closed during a trip several years ago. I was glad to see it... More

This is the place to go if you want incredible beignets. The restaurant, however, has a very limited breakfast selection (also serves biscuits, sausages, and a number of different muffins).

I love their café au Lait and Beignets! This is our Saturday morning ritual before any LSU game! While it is not known like Café Du Monde in New Orleans is, the Beignets are amazing! My daughter prefers the Beignet fingers!
